Couldn't agree more. I honestly dont understand how any Bulldogs fan could properly enjoy this year all that much, they have just bought everyone. It's why I never understood the logic behind supporting the Roosters - you just have no connection with the players whatsoever, the vast majority are at your club for a few years and then off to their 5th or 6th club once it's time to sign a new contract.

Take a look at the Roosters sides of the last few years. I'd be surprised if you found more than a few players each year who we didn't bring into first grade. Sick of this myth.

as making the hard yards for the team and playmakers to do thier thing, yes i would rather weyman

Of course you bloody would as Hayne is not a prop. Why compare apples with oranges? That's like saying as far as defensive backrowers go you'd prefer Hindmarsh over Hayne. Completely illogical.

Is Gaba female? That would explain a lot. After all, her name backwards is "A bag".

I bet your an ugly chick too Gaba.

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, anyone who spends more then one post arguing with Gaba clearly has mental issues themselves.

lol same goes for PBB, I can't believe people bother.

To be fair to Gaba though, I agree with some of the games about the Eels easy run... however I think just helped them get into gear. Knights were f**king terrible when they went down there, and that just fed their confidence. They are the form team and rightly so.

Every season is filled with "what if's" but you can only beat whats in front of you. The Eels have done that so far. The Dragons couldn't do it.

Wow,this thread got off topic awfully quick and never recovered.

I'll get it back on track.

Congrats to both Hayne and Parramatta.

He'd be in the top 5 of my wish list of players for the Dragons to sign.

Hayne had only played 3 good games against strong opposition , state of origin

and in the other games, he had played majority against teams who cant defend

Weyman has been consistant all year against tougher opposition

so you cant compare them, except they are both representative players

i would rather a player who plays through out the year, then a player like hayne who had only 3 good games , then been lucky his side has a good easy draw
last years Australian side was not strong opposition?

Agree with easy draw statement. Parra played a team with Weyman twice in a row

as making the hard yards for the team and playmakers to do thier thing, yes i would rather weyman
That's why we employ Fiu and not the useless Weyman.

LOL@Weyman....

sure the bloke is an honest toiler... but the fact hes playing origin says more about NSW's sh*te depth at prop than anything else...

i mean... seriously... didnt they play Fitzgibborn at prop last season??

weyman wouldnt be able to make a full strength Kangaroo's or Kiwis side...

I'd much rather wait another 10 years for the Raiders to win a premiership with a team that works its way up together than us go for the quick fix and buy a premiership next year.

It's very satisfying to be a Bulldogs fans knowing that the administration completely changed the culture of players bought spent wisely and got it right.

Especially after a number of their 'home grown' stars had walked out on the club leaving them hung out to try.

You'll be waiting a lot longer than 10 years for a team working its way up together to win a comp - that's a thing of the past. Get a grip on reality!
