Would Madge really not have AJ in the side? I would be surprised!
I think that right wing spot is not as safe for AJ as some may think
Thre main jobs of the modern winger are
1 create threats out wide for point scoring / Jennings can do this with his sheer size 106kgs
2 ball return after last tackle kicks / AJ regularly gets rag dolled 10m backwards / doubt that would happen with Jennings at 106kgs
3 safe under high ball and good defender out wide / AJ has not got the safest hands in the game and occasionally also gets brushed aside in defence / will have to wait and see if Jennings can match AJ in these key areas

But I didn't say for 2017 which is what you said I said.

I thought it was common sense it's upped for 2018 &19.

Lie teller.

I'm pretty sure Jennings plays on the right side ( same as hunt ) and Byrnes plays the left side
I think if anything it would be hunt right centre Jennings or AJ right wing ( Jennings being 6"4 and 106kgs
Then Gray left centre with Byrnes left wing and eventually Byrnes will take the left centre spot for himself then get a big tall solid specialist left winger
Burns hasn't proven himself yet though.

At present you're overrating him.

Agree.

Same as Bryson.

Trust me on this alien.

Last season I told you the same thing and look who was right!!!!!

In 2014 BRYSON wasn't dropped either. What happened was is he got injured and then the side was winning and Lote took his chance hence BRYSON couldn't force his way back in.

Has dropped merritt and goodwin before. Hunt started over auva'a this year, i think he may have convinced Matt King to retire early. I don't think maguire is afraid of tough decisions
GOODWIN started over Auva'a too.

Just saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRYSON became injured in 2014 as I have said many times. Lote took his second chance and BRYSON couldn't force his way back in unfortunately. After all, you can't change a winning side unless it's for a superstar player.

AJ struggles under the high ball at fullback.

But on the wing he's fine imo.

I agree that Goodwin was good most of the time at centre this year, but he wasn't good on the wing. If he is in the team in 2017, it has to be in the centres. You say Bryson couldn't force his way back into the team in 2014 - well that proves he isn't an automatic starter!

Lefts and rights don't matter a whole lot with some players.

For example if Jennings does play on the right, we can move AJ who played on the left in 2014.

True but some do have preferences eg inglis going left especially his cutout passes
Yeah I agree, it was especially evident with Gray and Auva'a this year, I was just bringing up a scenario where it could be done.

I'd like to see the player profiles state which side players prefer to play.

When I was playing as a second rower I'd kill it on the left but absolutely lose my bearings on the right. Never knew why it was just a thing I had, and plenty of pros have it too.

It all comes down to preference and being comfortable on the field, and I'm so curious as to who can play where.

No it just means he's not a superstar player. Half the team or more are good players but not superstars.

I'd play Jennings at Norths at first. He has to prove himself.

I don't think Cherrington makes our best side.

Clark and Goodwin will be there, as will Turner.
