If it was fiction it wouldn't have shaped the world the way it did.

Of course it's fiction. Ask any Muslim, Buddhist, Pagan, Rastafarian, Jedi etc

Competing non-fictional accounts don't invalidate each other Gronk. What kind of head-in-the-sand logic is that?
Who gives a f**k about wishy washy philosophical smoke screens ? You can bring your book and the others theirs and you can punch it out. Last man standing means that your book is the best. I'll be the merkin munching on popcorn in row E.

Dont they all make a unique claim to the truth? Only 1 of them could be non fiction in that case.
I think it is far more likely that Gronk has the inside running on universal truth than some first century bloke who is revered by billions, and whom any historian worth his salt acknowledges was real and did some extraordinary stuff....

That Criss Angel bloke does some freaky shit too.
They obviously each have a claim to at least some of the truth, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have a unique claim to the truth, either whole or in part.
It is also folly to think anyone would be expected to trust what they read or hear while denying the rest of their senses. Everybody chooses every day what to believe and what isn't trustworthy. Priests, politicians, scientists.. people are naturally sceptical of those who claim to know what we should think. This is how we come to our beliefs.
But as history shows us, it's very possible for most people to be wrong. Even then, why should we believe what we're told about history?
Sorry Pou, postmodernism is dead.
Most people recognise it was stupid and theoretical and completely devoid of reality. Worldviews are swinging back towards the modernistic
