Who the f**k is this Jesus dude!?

Other then the Bible there are no, I repeat no historical text by anyone from that era that refer to him in anyway what so ever in any setting. Now you would think that if such a person truly did exist, that at least one person of that day and age would have written something, hell even a footnote of the miraculous deeds of the said Son of God.

Can anyone today imagine if Jesus appeared today and no one, I mean absolutely no one, wrote even a sentence of his presence and miracles till around two hundred years later.

Freakin ridiculous. Religious nutters should all have their heads read.

And, like, yeah, with all the printing presses and publishers running around in those days, it's certainly a wonder nothing was written of him at the time. You'd think someone would have photographed him with their smart phone and put it on the net, too. Ignorant wankers.

i am most certainly not a believer .... but you do realise that the bible didn't come about by some dude sitting down writing it from go to woe ..... it was formed from a heap of different written things put into one

i don't believe in god n jesus - but i wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a dude that people thought was something special and wrote about him

To be fair to Ram (and I don't believe I'm saying this), but plenty of stuff was written down about important characters at the time. The thing is that this JC bloke only became particularly popular in writing outside biblical texts (including them wot got filtered later on) some time after his apparent demise. What we can be sure of is that plenty of people living not very long after his apparent salad days believed that he was the dude.

I might start writing about hayne

I am of the same opinion as Einstein on this. my parents are catholic but I am not.

a christian friend of my wife stayed with us over 10 days and were trying to convert us and it finally got to me and we had a big debate on whether the bible was gods words.

at the end, all she could say was you have to have faith that it is.

in the year 1988 at the time known as AD, a boy was born in a poor suburb in the outer southwest.

however this boy grew up and could turn excellent defenders into crapola ones. he has a huge following and can literally float on water.......

maybe one day someone will canonize these words

Well mate, many years ago there was the billboard on Parra rd, that said 'What would you do if Jesus came to Parra' (or similar), to which some wag had replied 'We'll have to move Price to the 2nd Row'.

She should've said this at the start. Like any ideology, it is a matter of whether or not you choose to believe it.

The dominant ideology right now in the West is that man is an animal with rights. Why? No reason.

Nice one, TheRam. Before it was the Bible it was a collection of historical texts.

No they weren't and if memory serves me correctly, the very first of these texts were written around a whole 50 to 200 years after his supposed demise.

And, like, yeah, with all the printing presses and publishers running around in those days, it's certainly a wonder nothing was written of him at the time. You'd think someone would have photographed him with their smart phone and put it on the net, too. Ignorant wankers.

You're an idiot. There were professional scribes everywhere in those days, and not one of them thought it warranted a sentence or two to note that there was this great healer/miracle man who was sticking to the establishment authority.

Like I said you guys are delusional fools.

So they were able to fleece the masses fifty years after it but 2000 years later a bunch of conspiracy theorists were in full possession of the facts? Sounds legit.

Mate your the delusional fool. It doesn't matter what religion you are, Jesus the man was written about in the Koran too. The bible is a collection of books so he was written about in more then one book.
From memory he is written about in some Roman texts also.
