He will also be avaliable during that crucial origin time and I think having him on board for 2 years could be very handy for the young blokes

I don't think it's panic stations for next year at all. The halves definitely need sorting, and some depth players for up front but that's about it IMHO.

We won't win it but, injuries not withstanding, it'll be a major improvement on this year

I am a bit upset that good old Sparty Grunter fell off the radar. It was always an even contest between him and Soup.

I heard a whisper that Soup lost it when Biker did the Harold Holt and went swimming and never came back.

It hit the dwarf hard. I heard, now I don't know how true it is, but he did sometime in the Benny Barba Rehab Centre. The got him sorted out as best they could.

Over time we have always encouraged him because of his obivous problems, but hey, that is the type of blokes we are.

I miss Sparty and Biker.
Those two and Sups were the 3 stooges.

Why not promote Tony Herman ?
Reynolds has suspect hammies. Pity about Takarangi, I would have met his asking price instead of paying Lewis megabucks to play half a dozen games next year.

Taka is no loss. Still need a right centre but not much available. May need to think outside the square. Super League, qld cup or NZ rugby

Why aren't we in the market for Snake? He's a winner, has more try assists than either Hunt or Reynolds (18, ranked 4th overall) and is freakish in stopping tries. Plus, he seems to have fallen off the Origin radar.

Still a gun player by any measure.
