All souths have said is worst case scenario 3-5 months we will know more when the scans are done. Why are people so mad at souths for preparing for a worst case scenario?

The phrase "worst case scenario" was not mentioned. It was just given as 4-5 months with details of the injury given as a completely separated.

The interview that madge Maguire did, where the media is getting all this 5 months out stories from, madge led out with saying it's a worse case scenario 3-5 weeks

I find it odd that he has to wait until Friday to see the surgeon.

Pro footy players are normally in to see the specialist/have surgery within 48hrs.

Guerra had surgery on his broken cheekbone 24hrs after Sunday's game... on a public holiday no less!

Something is not right down souths way with all their reporting of injuries,or indescretions for that matter.

Yes we're doing some funny business here just to annoy people on LU. We're delaying a surgery to a key player (and as a consequence, the recovery time) just to piss you all off.

Lets stop arguing and just come together in prayer. Hopefully superboot will be back in 4 - 8 weeks. After Daley sacks Hokko and Josh for losing the origin 2-0, we can see Adam in the blue colours game 3. Lets be real for a moment. Blue will really suit Adam's skin tone.

Souths are awful without Reynolds,he got injured in a finals match a few years back and than the Bunnies got carved up,he went off the field injured the other week against someone(i think Tigers,he ended up coming back on the field) and they were awful whilst he was gone.

Adam Reynolds 1
South Plodney Ploditohs 0

They lose their way when he's out of the play during games because he's integral to the team's processes. I'd say he would take 99.9% of sets during the week at training.

Prep for next week and the next few months will revolve around another player or perhaps a combination in this role now. It will take a few games to adjust because teams need the repetition, familiarity and consistency in their structures to work, but Souths have the goods in the forwards and backs to remain competitive week-in week out. They will miss Reynolds' general & goal kicking skills though.

The surgeon's got golfing commitments.

Not a surprise to delay it when dealing with knee injuries as you wait till the swelling has gone down anyway.

Please don't bring logic into this argument.
It's clearly a conspiracy to bring down the betting agencies and also to prolong James Graham's suspension (even though that matter has already been dealt with)

he can get a MRI booked in within 24 hrs...you don't even have to pay .
They are covered under medicare.
They print them out for you on the spot.

good luck trying to see the injury in the pics though.

Who knows, but I would want it to be done properly and 24 hours after an injury is usually only a rough guide.

Done properly?
You have no idea do you?

This is an MRI machine ...they are not cheap.
They take xray type pics ... heaps of them.
Then you can get what ever expert you want to read the results.
