Personally, I like the fact that we get to see potentially 3/4 of the Sharks' spine in action before the other teams.

I think Hynes-Trindall has a lot of potential, but potential means f-all if they don't put in the work. Hoping for a big season from both.

I see no difference in them playing this or a trial next weekend. The club will load manage it. Having a group of Sharks in any sort of camp always helps with recruitment down the line.

Gallen missed a f**k load of footy for us because of NSW but without him being there would we have got Lewis? Ennis? Maloney? Maybe. Maybe not. This isn't origin but its our fellas connecting to their culture with pride and showing the others that if they became a shark they would instantly have 5 best mates.

McInnes lost a year during a conditioning session. If the body is going to break down it will.

Lots to like in Trindalls game to date. Nice kicking game plus sideline goal but kicking it dead killed all the momentum for the Indigenous team. Little things can really matter.

Have only managed to catch a little bit of it, saw a few decent kicks from Nico and some from Trindall.

Be interesting to see what our spine starts off as this year after the trials....

Fifita plenty of passion but can’t see him getting any game time this year.
