Still, it was predictable that Inu would have a blinder tonight. It wasn't going to be any other way.

We'll see how he pans out over the next 12 rounds or so, then we'll have a better idea as to whether we've made a huge blunder.

Fact was, he wasn't getting games for us all season, that might speak for itself.

I'm telling y'all, Bill Tupou. Honest Bill. Safe Bill. Everyone's Best Mate Bill. He offers next to nothing and we have invested everything in him being our long-term winger.

Well now that the scapegoat has gone to the dogs we can have a undistracted conversation about Manu. When the ball's kicked to his wing how many here are holding their breath?

When you get to the stage where you're surprised when he catches it then that's the time to worry. He also spills the ball in the tackle too much and is too slow turning around and defending. We all know this.

But apart from this he's one of the great characters! "I love Manu!" as Gould always says, but it's not his football team so it's just entertainment for the likes of him. For the rest of us it's our whole life (don't pretend you have a life outside supporting the Warriors, please).

I would have thought after watching Vatuvei for what, 8 years now, people would know that the high ball is the least of Vatuveis worries when it comes to kicks.

lol good for you Inu. Long may it continue.

Sadly though, I'll bet that Inu will always be referred to as that "rocks & diamonds" type player. Not because it's a tag he deserves, but because that's how he's been typecast. He could go a month without making a single mistake, but as soon as he does, you can guarantee we'll get at least one of the commentators dribbling the predictable "that's what you get from Krisnan Inu, rocks & diamonds blah blah blah" comment.

Yeah exactly. And not just from commentators but from Warriors fan dribblers who will then use that as a reason why he shouldn't play FG

Inu had a bloody strong game tonight - would have been a hat-trick if he wasnt pushed out of touch in one of those attempts. His one handed try was a bit of a worry, but he was as safe as houses whenever they bombed to him..... now the obvious question - why didnt we ever play him on the wing??????????!!!!

oh, i forgot, we have the fumbling manu and the "nothing special to offer" Tupou!!!!! bluey's good mates....gems....

Noone's ever argued Inu's talent. But he obviously wasn't digging the environment here, wasn't applying himself at training, had a bad attitude... whatever. Either way, he wasn't working at the Warriors so we let him go - pretty simple.
He had a fantastic first game for the dogs and hopefully continues this form for the Kiwis' sake. There's every chance he will end up in NSW Cup again though, just as he did with Parra and 2 Warriors coaches.

Wasn't working at the Warriors because McClennan didn't give him a go on the wing or centre. They've handed a good, international outside back to an opposition side without giving him a chance in his preferred position, he had a bad game out of position and he's gone. I would have Thought he would have learnt from Inu's last season, obvisouly not.

Sadly, most people aren't able to form their own opinion apparently that includes coaches. I wish Inu all the best in the future. I'm sure he'll come back to haunt the Warriors.

About your mental health, yes. There is no logical basis to be surprised when Manu catches a regulation high ball.

Um, yes there is...past performance!;-) He's right...how many people now cringe when Manus going for the ball, unsure what will happen? Do you get that with 'Safe Bill?';-)
