You can't really blame Inu for choosing against a career at the Vulcans. I really wonder what it is that he did to fall out of favour with all his coaches, its got nothing to do with what he did on the field.

And it should really have a lot to do with what he does on the field.

Lousi, Packer & Godinet both said similar things to Manu too...

Obviously the playing group didn't want him gone

To be honest, I think this is a issue with the coaches...yes, 3 consecutive coaches.

Plays well on the field- check.
Gets on with the playing group- check.

His supposedly lazy attitude towards training and diet is unsubstantiated hearsay.

Let's not make the same mistake with Manu, judging him by his body language. I think the fact that Inu didn't look bothered enough we he made an error is really at the root of the hate from management, and his detractors.

which reads I cant catch a ball to save my life... f**k me, he's a professional sportman, yet he still does the most dumbess things to make you wonder what the f**k he does all week between games?

He should be up early in the morning practising high bombs - 500 a day if necessary.... f**k me, he's been in first grade for how long 6yrs - 7yrs? is it really that difficult to learn/develop/improve your ball control??

rant over!

He looked pretty dismal after that famous Storm carry this year, not that he made a lot of errors to begin with. If anything he appeared to lumber along when defusing bombs and returning the ball, but that's just his running style.

Sure, judge him by his errors. Be sure to balance that out by taking into account the good work that he does as well. But don't judge it by something as superficial as his habit of smiling when he makes an error. We judged Inu by appearances, rather than his football, and signed Ropati for every other reason apart from his football...we're the mugs that need to learn here.

Also, we're losing a goal kicker at the end of the year. I'd imagine Johnson takes over the kicking duties. Or Leuluai. But Inu was a pretty good kicking option...until we served him up to the Dogs.

I actually forgot that until I heard it on Radio Sport this morning... remind me again why he isn't our first-choice long-term centre !!

I'd be happy enough with Inu on the wing.

1- Locke
2- Inu
3- Nielsen
4- Hurrell
5- Vatuvei

Put Inu in one position and PERSEVERE with him, like they have Manu.

Manu's positives outweigh his negatives.

Inu was in the negative most of his career.
Its not just 3 coaches, he'll never wear a Kiwi jersey again..
