Oh wow whaddya know, ozbash is going against popular opinion on here and getting responses from people. Who would have thought.
Spit Manu's love juice out already Oz .
Manu's positives outweigh his negatives.
Inu was in the negative most of his career.
Its not just 3 coaches, he'll never wear a Kiwi jersey again..
Goes to a real club with a proper coach and bang becomes a star.
I believe that Inu's adamancy to be himself is what hurt him the most. Surely, he was aware of the general consensus regarding his attitude. But how many of us actually have personal insight into his training. People can only judge him by his performances and its easy to assume he doesn't give a hoot, but thats just the way he plays. In a way you have to commend a person that shows the courage to be themself despite the widespread criticism.
I remember a Jarrod Hayne interview where he says Inu was the star of their junior team. He did things not even first graders could do. I believe he still can.
Again that's nonsense, he had two bad games for us and those were Storm this year and one last year. That's it. He was scoring a lot of tries and was solid in defence, especially during our Grand Final run last year. I expected far worse when we signed him on given how he used to be with Parramatta but was pleasantly surprised.
It just fascinates me how much patience you have for Ropati who had at least three downright shockers this year alone, and likewise for the clubs patience with Manu who alone has cost us games.
That's exactly right, and what is so frustrating. I totally understand why he wanted out and wish him well. Why the **** would he want to stay here, being expected to only get a shot as a last resort, and expected to be faultless at whatever position he's slotted into. Yet, other faves are given chances time and again despite poor form and bad **** ups that have literally cost us games. JRo and Manu are the two obvious examples there where there is no length of poor form that would have them dropped. It's an appalling double standard.
Now now, lets not get the testes in a tangle..
The difference between JRo/Manu and Inu is basically their headspace. If they have a poor game, they are their own harshest critics, they go head down, arse up trying to fix up their weaknesses or mistakes.
On the other hand you have Inu (who'se error count is probably significantly less, because he doesnt put in the same effort as JRo/Manu) who puts last weekends f**kups behind him and looks ahead to next weekend.
The guy reminds me of Peter Pan, he is the little boy who doesnt want to grow up. ie, he wont take responsibility for his errors, its just a game.
.can you prove this?
because im sick off all the people saying "yeah he doesn't train hard enough" "he doesn't care what happens" and their own solid undoubtable proof is because of how laid back he looks on the park.
stop making assumptions and get me some facts.
.
Spot on mate. We all know assumptions are the mother of all eff ups. Facts please.......
Um, yes there is...past performance!;-) He's right...how many people now cringe when Manus going for the ball, unsure what will happen? Do you get that with 'Safe Bill?';-)
