I am getting concerned with Cleary's coaching skills. Elliott had a decent record before coming here. Like Elliott we don't have a plan b, c & d if we get injuries or struggle.

As the year goes on we aren't improving. Silly mistakes & errors are still there. Except for a handful of players we have the same squad next year.

We don't seem to change our gameplan for the players we have. We don't make changes to a struggling team.

I’m sorry but I simply don’t get the hate by singling out certain individuals after what happened this evening.

Tyrell Fuimaono was not to blame for what happened tonight and he is not deserving of the hate our problems are much deeper than him being selected out of position.

A broken down 35 year old dummy half by the name of Robbie Farah exposed us all too easily with simple but effective scoots out off dummy half and before I had finished my first pint we were 16 points down.

After there second try I said to the wife we were done then and there. The body language of our players behind the in goal line waiting for the conversation attempt said it all. We had nothing. Not saying we gave up or didn’t try our best but this current side is done. We invested a lot of faith and salary cap in players who are simply not capable of delivering a return on our investment.

Cleary is obviously a good coach, but he makes some headscratchers just like anyone. Not having Segeyaro start until Kingston got injured just because Kingston was captain, playing Yeo on the wing, Whare at fullback, his love affair with Docker regardless of form.....but he is getting the job done overall.

And people accuse me of not being positive. See, I can be as deluded as anyone by a string of good results.

My guess would be that a good few of this squad were glad to not have too serious Bennett or Maquire come in and upset the lifestyle...what better than have our little buddy's easy going dad in charge....how much fun is this gonna be ?!

Who hates Fui? He's not an NRL centre (maybe not NRL standard at all) but he didn't pick the team.

Most were saying before the game Fui shouldn't be at centre - unfortunately Dave's mate was not 1 of them.

The good thing is . . . . Ivan isn't under pressure to perform.
And as we all know, pressure can lead to sub-standard performances.
He has time on his side . . . what, 4 1/2 seasons ? so he has plenty of time to get it right.
He also has the security of knowing he probably won't be sacked, because of the ridiculous deal he was offered as inducement to break a contract. We'd guess that your club wouldn't be too keen to add another coach to their payroll.
He should have a break out year any year now.
He shafted ole Gus, too . . . so now he is the apex clubfkker.
