Murray is part of the knights coaching set up. I doubt he will want to return to the top flight nor and no offence intended but its the truth to a club in as bad a position as the sharks.
I don't get why everyone is so down from the sharks camp, the way the sides set up it lives and dies by Carney. He had a poor game as did Cronulla but showed enough to say they can compete with most sides. I think there is a lot of similarities between Cronulla 2012 and Canberra 2008(I think when they stormed into the finals from nowhere).
That's the point!
Why did he have a poor game.

Why has this quality footballer's game sunk to this from his first trila when he slayed manly???

Why does he drop the pill twice.

Why...because his head ain't right. Why isn't his confidence driving him thru that hole and around that slow defender?

Under Sheens it would. Bennnet, Bellamy, Hasler.

Carney's just one bloke.

Why is Pommeroy so unbelievably so friggin, totally useless as a footballer and has been for years?

He went thru a hole today and had Gardner screaming on his inside. 2 on one with the full back to beat. A classic 'pull the fullback wide and draw and pass'. Pom runs into Gards's line and the fullback has both of them falling over each other.
This bloke should not be near the first grade side. i did give a flying fugg who takes his place - but he has had a million chances and cannot get it right.

No other coach would continue to pick this poor sod. Why can Phlanno NOT see this??

Why?

Why can't he see Carney is NOT an organising half? TC has no idea how to organise a team, but yet he will be 7 next week.
Graham is a good player - tuff and quick and very good defender, but will never be a 5/8 as long as it points south.

Haha - and I know you would be well conditioned carch.

But the team can't use the heat as blame for that first half effort.

It's a game of possession. 50% completion rate will see any team finish with the soon.

The coach can't be blamed for the likes of Taga dropping the pill with the line open...

...can he?

To compound the loss I walked past that bible smoking mother fugged Capsis after the game.
Probably coups joint... Front yard
Exactly how I pictured it.

The old merkin gave me a head nod and a smile...
I gave him my best death stare...while wearing sunnies.

Frenzy.

Who picked Taga to play?

Flanno did and he is picking him to play the wrong role IMO, but, neither the selection or the role made him drop it.

If I were to nitpick I'd blame the pass. Too hard and too high for a butterfingers like Taga (and he is another butterfingers). Mind you, 9/10 other pro footballers would of caught it.

Graham puts in 100% week in week out..can tackle AND catch..

Chad 1/2 Carney 5/8 graham i/centre Mills o/centre...

I can't see one reason why Graham is less of a proposition in that position than anyone else currently at the club....Ben is a nice guy....Best should retire. It's over.

Graham may be able to tackle and catch but he definitely can't run and he has no evasion. Centre ... no way

Pom and Best were OK today. 8 tackle busts between them and they looked quite dangerous with the ball. They were the least of our problems.

We ain't far away from being a good side if we hold the pill. Unfortunately our structure is not conducive to that.

We are too flat & too predictable & we are taking passes with the defence on us or in our face.

I think we better get Townsend in there before it's too late. He controlled the game in the 2nd half of the Knights trial & now it's his time. It will take the pressure off Carney because he is trying to carry the team, in conjunction with Gal.

You can't carry, let alone direct any team that averages a completion rate in the 50 percentile range.

Our issues are not our play maker and traffic controller, it's our ball security and ability to get to the kick.

Plus Spide, there is no intensity in their all round game.

Slowest play the balls in the history of the NRL and couldn't give a rats about stopping the clock even if they are 12 down with 25 to go.

If you are mad enough to watch the replay of the 2nd half, watch for that aspect of our play. It's cruel to watch.

Today's issue was obviously ball control... We have serial offenders dropping ball (Pomm and Gardner) and today we had players choking when dead set tries were on.

To compound this, Gal had a bad game. I expect to be flamed for this, but he was VERY lazy in defence (and yes he wasn't the only one - Best, I'm looking at you!).

Our side needs a big change otherwise we will continue along this path for another year.

Is sacking the coach an option? No, because he will be replaced within the club who will have the same approach.

Also, I knew we were in for a bad second half when the guys 'ran' out...

They looked lethargic just getting back onto the field...

Same as last week against the Tigpies. We looked unfit and underdone.

Gall looked like he was shagged in the second half, maybe he's still not 100% over that illness.
