Obviously not, hence why they conceeded two penalties.
The belief that the penalty count should be even is stupid. A team under pressure (usually the losing team) will give away more penalties, and is why the penatly count usaully favours the team that wins the game.
How people can point to an un-even penalty and blame the refs instead of their own team is just plain dumb
Or a satellite could have fallen out of the sky and landed on the field :roll:Correct call in axing Maxwell.
Doesn't mean that particular decision cost the Sharks victory. They could have thrown an intercept the very next tackle OR lost the ball OR missed a field goal.
BUT the decision did immensely aid a Tigers win.
exactly
but we should have had the ball. not them.
Yes. If the Sharks were to rightfully lose that game it should have been because of their own incompetence ... not the referee's incompetence. They weren't allowed the opportunity to screw up.
And to make matters worse the Sharks never got the ball back after the bad decision.
What is dropping him for a week going to do? The useless prick will be back in round three.
There's no doubt the call was a shocker and given the context, probably cost the Sharks a victory. However, I reckon the Sharks first try came off a forward pass and the advantage call against Galloway following the Sharks' knock on in the first half was very questionable.

No mate, it's commons knowledge that the tigers have never had a had a bad referee call go against them in the past 74 years
