How good would Grownkoski go for the Eels?

He'd go about as well as any other NFL player - he'd be needing an oxygen tank after 5 minutes.
He'd probably smash through quite a few blokes in that time though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Patrick Willis try and put on a few hits against some League players.

And soccer is bigger and better than the NFL. Does that mean every merkin playing soccer is miles better than anyone in rugby league?

I don't think league will ever be bigger than it is now. It doesn't bother me. I'm an Eels fan, not an NRL fan. When I watch international games I go for whoever is playing against Australia.

I used to watch the NFL too but I got bored with it. Don't let it hurt your feelings. I've got no emotional connection with any NFL team, just like I don't follow the EPL/La Liga/Serie A/Bundesliga because I don't care about any of the teams.

Just because a game has more money and fans doesn't mean it's better. It just means it's in a bigger market.

There's more money in f**ken golf than there is in American footy you twat. And more money in soccer than any of them.

So do I! My favourite team is England. We have so much in common, Pou Pou (God, I wish you'd change that user name - it sounds so ridiculous).

The Chosen One close to signing for Detroit.

Dunno what the NFL team is like, but the city is in decay. It's filling for Bankruptcy.

It's so bad over there after the decline of their motor vehicle manufacturing industry (sounds familiar) that you can buy a house for $5,000 or cheaper.

lol, he is not close to signing with them.
Many a hopeful player conduct a physical test with a club.
Coach Caldwell obviously has never heard of the guy.

But as a Detroit fan, IF this was true, I will murder the first man I see wearing a Lions Hayne jersey.

I don't know if you're superstitious but I f**ken am, and I have had a horrible feeling since about 2010 that Hayne is just bad luck. It's a shame because he is the best player I have ever seen.

One of the best players you have ever seen. Don't sell JT -slater-Johns-Fitler short mate.

I consider Hayne the most complete and talented footballer I have ever seen. He was phenomenal.

I was watching his highlight reel on YouTube yesterday, and though it made me smile, I was saddened by the realisation he's no longer an Eel.

Agree with them on the pads and helmet thing. It must feel like your Ned Kelly the first time you put that kit on. He needs to adjust to it and not lose any of his skills.

How good are Americans? They truly are a step above the rest of the world in terms of athletic ability. Haynes's's' has no chance to crack in in the NFL when this athleticism is combined with their superior intelligence and awareness.

The Elephant is going to be mighty pissed off when he finds out Ron Jeremy has hacked his account
