Rhinos are without Hep CAHILL and Albert HOPA this weekend as well. The lads are playing p/League for the jets against manly I think. Due to vacancies in the Roosters NRL ranks. Come on Rhino's, step up !!!

The Windsor Wolves defeated Chester Hill Rhinos last night in front of a crowd of approximately 400 at Terry Lamb Reserve.
The game was close throughout though Windsor gained the ascendancy after half time and were able to dominate possession and territory. Chester Hill had numerous chances to score though sloppy hands near the Windsor tryline let them down.

Cabramatta returned to the winners circle with a 40 - 6 thumping of the previously undefeated Erina Eagles. Looked like the eagles came to New Era Stadium ( Cabra Sports Ground) thinking that after the thrashing Cabra received the previous week it would be a stroll in the park. What a difference a week makes. First 25 minutes Cabra controlled the game and starved Erina of the ball. In the second half Erina came out firing and had 6 consecutive sets at Cabra line. However, great defense held them at bay. Scott Jones very impressive and named player of the match. Cabra retains the Clay Webb Memorial. A good win to Cabra

<H2> <H2><H2>CABRA PLUCK THE EAGLES IN ROUND 3

The Cabramatta Two-Blues put the previously unbeaten Erina Eagles to the sword in Round 3 of the Jim Beam Cup this evening at New Era Stadium with a comprehensive 40-6 victory to reclaim the Clay Webb Memorial Shield. The locals hit the ground running with 4 tries in the first 13 minutes to lead 20-0, and despite Erina scoring their only try in the 24th minute, never looked troubled in an 8 tries to 1 romp to avenge some of the pain of last weeks horrific loss. For Cabramatta, hooker Scott Jones was named Man of the Match in arguably his best game for a couple of seasons, while the elusive Allan Burns was announced Players Player. Coach Len Stacker also singled out rookie brothers Francis and Louis Vaiotu, lock Apelu Poto and Utility Dean Lamb for their efforts.
Tryscorers - A. Burns (2), L. Vauiotu, G. Britcher, A. Poto, C. Yates, R. Brown, & J. Trotter. Goals - A.Fluke 3/6, S Agia 1/2.

REDS HOME TOWN HEROS AT THE WARZONE
The Bartercard Reds came up with a stunning come from behind win to turn on a stirring victory in front of a vocal crowd for their first home game at Member Equity Stadium &#8211; dubbed the WAR Zone from the acronym of the WA Reds and how the club want to greet visitors to the West. The win puts the new club in a 2 &#8211; 2 win loss record for the start of the season which is in line with where they hoped they would be in the inaugural year.
The 38 to 26 win came after a big slump in the second half when the Reds were 10 &#8211; 26 down at the 19 minute mark. They went into the shed at half time with a slender 10 &#8211; 8 lead but allowed in 4 tries through some very ordinary defense in the period immediately following the break.
The ease at which the Sharks scored sent the crowd silent and wondering where the spark was going to come from. The spark came in the form of forward Sio Mailangi who came off the bench in his first game for the Reds and immediately intimidated with some power runs through the middle, which shook up the visitors.
The Reds then lifted three minutes later with Taurean Sheehan making the most of the opportunity of the ball bouncing off the upright after a kick forward to go over the line.
The whole team then seemed to see the door open and with a quick succession of tries through Isaac Thomas, Ben Lindergaard and James Blake, they regained the lead in a remarkable 12 minutes of play to take the score to 32 &#8211; 26.
The final try came through Steve Gherardi on the siren with the second of two tries for the night. It was converted by Mick Kestel who finished with 14 points for the game including his own try to open the game in the first 2 minutes.
Gherardi and Thomas both commented after the game that the noise and response from the fans in the WAR Zone was a big plus for the night and definitely provides that additional spur for the team when playing at home.
Coach Chris Dever was pleased with the win, but again disappointed with the lapse during the middle part of the game that seems to be happening week after week.

&#8220;The guys started well and ran in a couple of good tries but then failed to consolidate by playing solid sets of tackles to maintain the lead and control the game. We must learn to protect the ball and hold onto our leads. It was good to win the way we did though, especially in front of our first home crowd.&#8221;
Best players for the Reds included James Blake and Ben Lindegaard with good leading roles from Shane McMenemy and Isaac Thomas.
The local fans would also have been impressed with opposition player and ex NRL star David Peachey who showed experience and poise throughout the match.
The club is back on the road next week in Sydney against Wentworthville before the next home game against the Windsor Wolves on Sunday May 4.
