Agree a little but we dont need Poore.

With Cayless, Moimoi, Latimore, Mannah and Paulo we could do with 1 more prop and possibly have Cayless play in the backrow.

Completely disagree!

We definitely need a 'top end' prop - we have enough of the 'bench prop' quality guys, so adding a Stapleton would be silly.

Poore would be an EXCELLENT addition to this team and give us a pretty strong prop rotation (Poore, Moi Moi, Cayless, Mannah, then Latimore and Allgood as the next in line - Paulo if he resigns would give great depth).

I do agree with the backrower sentiment - but it looks like we're chasing Shackleton pretty hard with a 200k number being bandied about. Even if he falls through, it looks like we've got 200k to spend on a backrower.

And it also sounds like we're chasing Fien or Holdsworth (M Monaghan too?) - so a halfback seems to be on the cards too - meaning K Keating would be 5/8 and Mateo at lock?

Unfortunately we're going to be stuck with some of "Hagan's Heroes" in the backrow for one more season since Oake and Hauraki have contracts until the end of next year - but at least they're trying to do something about it by bringing in a low cost, high potential recruit in Filiga.

The forgotten player in all of this is Dan Hunt. Off contract and has been playing very well from the bench for the Dragons. I'd take half the money being thrown at Poore and giving it to Hunt. His average of 45 minutes per game, 11 hitups for 85 metres and 27 tackles is reasonable given he isn't starting. When he has his numbers are even better.

Que sera, sera - if he chooses to go to the Sharks, so be it. I am positive Anderson has other plans he's putting in motion.

Well you would have thought if we were any chance of signing poore he would have done so around the time all this trouble started for the sharks, now things have died off a bit, he'll proably sign with them.

I would stay at the Dragons for a sh*tload less than go to the Gummy Sharks, they are looking at the comp in the next couple of years. And i still can't believe he is considering choosing them over us ATM.
