Karmichael Hunt goes rah-rah

I'm assuming he is going to play in the centres. His kicking game isn't good enough to be on the wing, fullback, five eight. His passing game isn't good enough to play halfback either.

I think he will find defense quite difficult considering you are not allowed to shoulder barge.

He was vastly over rated in the NRL but i think he will definitely be a worse union player. Sometimes i wonder if they are actually buying players for their skill set or just buying big name players.

You are aware he was in the Qld schools team for RU aren't you? Played it at ACGS in Brisbane. Playing RU isn't exactly something new for him.

Not happy about this. Not because of Hunt leaving. Just knowing Broncos are gonna have a lot of cash up their sleeves. Be interesting to see who they buy.

Buy Mick Devere.

That way you can still have a Hunt playing full-back.

Once a cutie, always a cutie
Right since he decided, having lived in Australia for about 5 years, that he was an Australian because he wanted to play for Qld, despite when being asked who he supported in the Rugby his response being the All Blacks. Constantly shown himself as someone who doesnt want much of a challenge, whether it be slotting into the Australian side, running off Lockyer's good work at Brisbane etc. A vastly over rated player who we can do without.

So enjoy the big bucks of europe Karmichael, but please dont treat the league public like idiots by saying 'Oh im going to experience a new culture with my long term girlfriend.' You're going for the money there is no doubt about, and after your behavior in that cubicle last season you have to wonder just how settled you sound like a great long term partner for any girl. You'll probably retire a very rich but somewhat unsattisfied sportsman after pissing away the talent you have in lesser competitions.

Brisbane are really missing Wayne Bennet, he kept the ego's in check up there.

Why do you feel the need to comment on Hunt's playing ability when it's obvious you rarely watch him play?

Simon_says was correct in his summation. Brisbane have channeled pretty much all of their attack through Hunt this season. We are up sh*t creek next season unless a) Lockyer returns to 06/07 form and b) Hodges gets shifted to FB and manages to play more than his usual 1 game a month.

f**ken leave him alone some of you

I've met cutie and I bloody liked him, he's a really good footy player and his reasons are genuine so good on him.

Best of luck, mate!

No surprise to see him betray the game, a leopard doesn't change its spots.

BRONCOS star Karmichael Hunt will play rugby union next year because of his burning desire to experience a new culture overseas.

What bullsh*t! It's about the money and only about the money.

Spot-on. And I'm hardly surprised - he's already betrayed his country of birth, so betraying Rugby League is just more of the same.
