It's because he can't argue with reason. When I say something like "Alex Murphy was better than Ken Catchpole" A real Union man might reply with a comment about Catchploes skills in one area, not "Go and have a cry". I gave him a great opportunity to continue with his theory that all players are crap unless sides they have played in win a tournament - the basis of his "No NRL player could suceed in 7's Rugby" argument. I asked him if it was true in comparing Keith Barnes with John Rheinberger. Now it's not hard for anyone to work out who Rheinberger was with the internet's bowles of wisdom so close at hand. Any fan of either code's history should know who Barnes was. It's not hard to make the link that they represent the obvious lie in Sheeprooter's claims.

But Te haha - it went all over the top like a squadron of RAAF Hornets. He didnt have a clue.

As for Masoe - look if you want to get into a dick pulling contest with the merion molester as to who knows more about a peculiar tournament of part time plods - go for it. If you reckon the cream of the NRL is no match, there is no crime against that. Because, unlike you. I have a few more weeks of the best Rugby players in the world playing 4 nations, then Christmas, holidays, and then the best start again with the WCC. Meanwhile you both have tonight's kick and clap borefest, and 3 months of Ewe swapping.

Wear a condom. You dont want to weaken your flock's gene pool.

You havent provided anything you oxygen thief... You have provided nothing that would prove in any way shape of form how any scratch team of NRL players would win a 7's gold... you waffle on, deflecting form the fact you have nothing... the only evidence of how an NRL player would go in the comm games is Lote... and he did squat.

And theres the JMs girlfriend.. where there is one you will always find the other...

I'm quite happy to have a rational debate... where facts are presented, not opinions.. but that will never happen on this board... so i simply follow suit... but making a claim that a scratch team of NRL players would instantly be good enough to win a comm games medal in another sport, with out any supporting evidence.. is just opinionated crap, and gets what it deserves.
There is more evidence about League's best having superior skills to Yawnion 7's players than there is evidence in the following photograph that you were using Viagra the last time you went shearing.

So it was all Lote's fault?:lol:

F*ck you are a sad merkin!

Ignore the fact that he was signed directly into the Wallabies won't you.

Lets make this more basic for you. Who was Keith Barnes? I bet you have no f*cking idea - and will prove as much by your reply.

No you dumbarse... the rest of the team werent any better then he was... but your claim is that NRL players are clearly better... any the only time that was tested it was found not to be true.

Lote Tuqiri was in the Australian Sevens team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He also played in the 2003 Brisbane leg of the IRB World Sevens circuit, and did pretty well.

Te Kaha, what makes these Union 7's players so much better than League players who could play 7's?

And while you are checking how many tests Rheinberger played :)lol:), explain this but of promo by none other than Jaques Rogge:

http://www.irbsevens.com/regionalsp...#rogge+predicts+rugby+giants+will+play+sevens

Rogge predicts Rugby giants will play Sevens

International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge predicted on Friday that rugby's biggest names will one day be challenging for gold, in Sevens.

Rogge was speaking alongside IRB Chairman, Bernard Lapasset, at a press conference in Auckland days before to the Rugby World Cup final.

Rugby's last appearance at an Olympics came in 1924, when USA won the last 15-a-side gold medal. Now the sport is set to return to sport's grandest stage, in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, in the form of men's and women's Sevens.

However, Rogge is predicting that the giants of the sport will not remain outside of the Olympic ring, and that the lure of gold could prove too strong.

"I think this will come with time," the former Belgian rugby international told reporters when asked if he could envisage a time when the biggest names in world rugby would once again compete on an Olympic stage.

"I am quite sure that, with the evolution we see with Sevens, players will be tempted to go to the Olympic Games.

"Again, it may not be that easy because the transition is not that easy to do - it requires some different skills, but yes ..."

Sevens was admitted back onto the Olympic programme at the IOC Session in Copenhagan in October 2009.

It presents an attractive proposition to the IOC with its youthful vibrancy and strong commercial and broadcast appeal off the pitch and its speed, skill and global competitiveness on it.

Working with its member unions, the IRB has formulated a Sevens Strategic Plan laying out the future plans for the game, which includes Olympic qualifying.

"We try to balance two things - quality but also universality," added Rogge.

"We want teams from the five continents but we also want the best teams.

"And in some regions the qualification of course may be harder than the Games themselves," he added, referring to the great strength in Oceania. "But this we have in other sports too."

Meaning the best Yawnion talent is in the 15's. Given that NRL player can walk into international sides, therefore mix it with the best of the 15's, this proves they are better than 7's. The boss of the IOC and a former Yawnion international said so himself!!!!!!

Te Kaha, what makes these Union 7's players so much better than League players who could play 7's?

They play sevens professionally... League players could easily be as good.. given enough time.. but to say a scratch team could win gold is just stupid.

No you geniused hobo felcher... he said one day because Rugby 7s isnt in the Olympics for another five years you stupid moron... he would hardly use the present tense when its not even played at the next olympics you moron

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

They are rugby players who couldnt cut it in League... from more than a few years ago... like others who havent cut it, who i am sure you could name... no different to the League players who couldnt cut it in Rugby... all of which has no relevance to how good a scratch NRL team could win a comm game gold.

No it's not. The cream of Rugby dont compete, and the cream of the NRL would have no problem mixing it with the cream of Rugby...........

Who cares? It roves that the cream of Rugby are not in the 7's version!!!!!!!!!!!!

What makes you think that Hayne, Slater, Hodges, Marshall, Inglis et al would not win a tournament of sub standard union players with hugs gaps on the field? Apart from your dim witted brain, of course.

OH. MY. GOD.

I have met large concrete slabs who are thicker than you.

No the best 7s players compete.. those who specialise in it... and the only time an NRL player competed.. he didnt make a difference.

No.. the best 7s players are... you haven't "roves" anything

Because they dont know how to play the game, and its only your opinion they are sub standard... its not actually the truth tho.

And here we have the classic example of a moron in action.... wait for it...

John Rheinberger (Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former rugby league and rugby union footballer..... unless you think because he couldnt get a gig with easts rugby that doesnt count???

You want to rephrase that last post?

Are you saying the best sevens players are the cream of Rugby, or the best sevens players play sevens?

And how hard would that be ffs? All they would need is to get the ball.

You are the f*cking moron - took you 4 pages to realise you could google something!

You also reckoned Rheinberger was a Union player who failed at League  Clearly, that's wrong.

It's a pity that while you went to Wikipedia, you couldnt find the meaning of the word "both". It refers to TWO things collectively. Clearly, they BOTH did not play Union. And if Rheinberger couldnt get a run with Easts 4th grade Union, stands to reason his Yawnion career was in the juniors. Or something more simple, like Rugby 7's!

Anyway, the Barnes/Rheinberger comparison proves that your stupid assessment of Tequiri and his 7's stint is rubbish. A bit like your posts, really.

More drivel... And still no evidence that any scratch NRL team could walk in and win the comm games gold... its simple really, just like you.. Until it happens you are just talking out of your arse.
