I am not a LC member, hence won't be attending.
I don't live anywhere near Parra, so am not a member of a club I rarely attend.

I am however a FC member and was long before they started giving membership out as the novelty toy in coco pops packets.

Can someone please ask: Why do they include FC membership in the B&G supporters pack when the FC is not involved in the NRL team which people are ACTUALLY buying the pack to support?

Constitution mate. Too hard to change it.

meh, but thats NOT my question - why not give a membership of something that means something to the NRL side the pack is being bought to support? Why pretend they are giving something meaningful to the NRL operations?

Why would they want 10,000+ fans having a say in what happens to the footy club ?

It's been reported that the coach and players will be there tonight.

Just wondering if it's still a waste of time to go??

How could they put the AGM on the same night that the Federal Budget gets released and the Biggest Loser finale is on - how am I meant to choose between 3 such staggeringly exciting events?

Actually there will be a lot of similarities between the three; each seems just as likely to have a punch up sometime during the evening, each will involve a lot of knives in backs and each contain a decent amount of big losers.

when somebody says "I watched the biggest loser last night", I will have to ask for more information.

Question for the board:

It has been rumoured that Parra are looking to get someone in to help out Kearney. What are your thoughts on Paul Langmack? He has a better record than Kearney and is currently available

 Very good! That is SO funny.

I am trying to get out of commitments to get there.

I would like to ask the board "You sacked an experienced, well credentialled coach to install a rookie to 'rebuild' the NRL squad. You obviously have now come to the same conclusions as the rest of us and agree that he is way out of his depth - which is why you are trying to 'help him' by bringing in another coach. Why not just man up and admit you made a grave error, send Mr Kearney on his way and start again with someone who actually knows what he is doing?"

WOE, well everyone wants to go back and hire someone who released Inu,MAteo, TRex,, Nathan Gardner and signed Tahu, Poore and Shackelton

He was not the answer, unfortunatelyt it appears the current bloke isnt, who would have expected someone with that pedigree would have turned out like he has.

At least I have my junior club to support, my grandsons are losing interest in the Eels, and so am I to be honest. Haven't watched footy thiseekend

Arhhh me, and I remember you and I having a discussion about this. His pedigree is great, until you factor in the circumstances and the big holes in between his international successes. That and he was a rookie, but for me the worrying part was the Buzz Rothfield recommended him. He was always the next cab off the rank for Buzz since Hagan was shown the door. Well he got his man . . . Thanks Buzz.
