Good performance, unlucky not to take all 3 points.

Song was huge, played the best ive seen him play in a long time.

Yossi, Gervinho, Arteta, Van Persie all good.

Koscielny was terrible.

Happy with the draw. Before the game I had the mindset of being content with a point, so content I shall be. A draw was a fair result as I thought Dortmund did enough to win the game tbh. Arsene looked happy with the result, which he has every right to be.

Koscielny terrible? I was watching the game whilst doing some homework, did I miss something? I thought he was quite solid? Especially considering he probably had some lingering concussion after the collision in the first half.

Gervinho was great, again. Very unlucky not to get a goal. Speaking of goals, how about Robin's? Brilliant pass from Walcott and a suitable finish to match.

Totally agree with you about Song though. A strong performance indeed - interesting that he received the armband from Robin once he went off.

Now onto Blackburn.

Almost beating and getting a draw away against IMO our toughest opponent in our group tells me we won't have too much trouble getting through.

Now to carry on our good momentum with a win this weekend so we keep climbing up the table.

Koscielny played Dortmund onside a number of times, something I thought Per would sturggle with, but he was good. He got better as the game went on, but was very shakey and easily the worst of the back 4.

BvB are sitting 11th, just lost on the weekend and have been playing like shite this new season in all competitions bar the first game against the team sitting bottom without a win and Arsenal still couldn't put them away but apparently they would romp the Bundesliga in when this morning they proved they wouldn't come close :lol: Everything to laugh about. Arsenal should have destroyed a terrible out of form BvB if the gulf was that bad.

Yep because we're in white hot form right now? You whinge about their form but we're hardly at our peak right now...3 of our starting 11 today have been with the club for all of about 5 minutes.

And on top of that it was in Germany.

Wait till they come to London and we give them a touch up when our new players have had time to get used to the team.

I tend to somewhat agree. He wasn't the best player on pitch, but certainly no where near the worst - that title easily went to Kehl. I blame the positional issues on a two game partnership between our CB's and the pace of Lewandowski.

However, Song was a standout MOTM.

Theres no chance in hell Koscielny was close to the top 3 players on the pitch imo. To be honest he made the kind mistakes you'd see from Djourou. To put things into perspective, the last time we played at Dortmund in 2003 we were the reigning league champions and lost 2-1.

Two own-goals and one that shouldn't have stood. Plus, we were unlucky to not get another. Robinson always plays well against Arsenal - must be his leftover Spuds blood.

I'm not overtly concerned, yet.

Now THAT was an example of a sh*t game from Koscielny. We really, really, really, really miss Vermaelen.
