BunniesMan is van Persie the next Sandow, he's a world beater now but as soon as he leaves Le Arse he'll be shithouse?

If RVP had major deficiencies in his game. If RVP was involved in several controversies. If RVP dissapeared for 48 hours leading up to a crucial game...I'd be critical of him.

RVP is world class. Sandow is Queensland's 4th choice halfback.

Parramatta AND Chelsea fan...lol

All I have to say is...56-6 and 5-3.

Edit: We're reportedly scouting Lucas Podolski for a 20m January transfer.

Lukas Podolski? Lmao, and you're excited by this?
Did I say I was excited? No. But it does reinforce my opinion that Bundesliga is a glorified feeder league for big teams in big leagues.

Nope, putting it out there since he's had to defend himself from allegations of racism. Do you want a problem?
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...-absurd-Nazi-salute-claims-article824784.html

The Dutchman took to Twitter on Sunday to vigorously deny the claims.
He said: "It has been brought to my attention of some ridiculous allegations concerning my celebration of one of my goals yesterday.
"It is totally ludicrous to suggest that... my action of brushing my shoulder and pointing to my fans could be construed as anything else but of a showing of joy and celebration.
"To suggest this meant anything to the contrary is insulting and absolutely absurd as nothing else came into my mind."

Did I say you were you f**king moronic genius? That's why it's a question, derpy.

Glorified feeder league? Yeah, pretty much but the clubs have identity whereas all I see from you as this Arsenlol "fan" is "splash 40m at Hazard, splash 40m at Götze, we need to buy here we need to buy there" so at the end of the day who really gives a shit if the league is a feeder league when paying overs for these players helps keep some of these clubs survive? 20m in a transfer fee and not having to pay his wage would do a club like Köln nicely until the next Podolski comes along who goes on to be a failure at FCB becomes a mega transfer target for a desperate team like Arsenlol

He's a guy with a dozen or so more goals for the Nationalelf than he has in his BL career  Says it all about small club Arsenlol looking at an FCB reject who had interested dismissed by Milan

smh why the hell are you linking me to an article when I said the same thing; he's had to defend himself from allegations, man you're f**king derped in the brain big time.

I'm sorry but what? You seem to have gone of on one here for zero reason. He was only reporting a rumour about his own club in his clubs sub forum. Hardly a reason to throw several insults and in the middle post a load of garbage.

Bunniesman says some wierd things at times but you have gone beyond the Bunnies zone with this one. I suggest a lie down, in a dark room.

As for Podolski, looks alright for a small Bundesliga team and may do better with some actual quality around him but i wouldn't think he would be worth going for.
Not the type of player Arsenal need. If they want a Colgne born player Helmes from Wolfsberg would be more useful as an impact sub.
Not a very good league for strikers though, Italy would be better.

Lol not even talking to you and you're on me, f**k off

Not a good league for strikers? Demba Ba tearing up the EPL, Dzeko doing hid thing, Berba one of the leagues top scorers last year? You're dismissed

Not of them play in the Bundesliga.

Its a rubbish league for strikers. All the good ones left to play for decent teams.

Go for that lie down now. You really need it.

Do I desperately want Podolski? No. Especially not at the expense of investing to properly replace Fabregas. But if we get him in addition to a top midfielder, then I'll be happy.

Someone who has scored 43 goals in 93 games for Germany would be exactly the supersub/RVP backup we've been lacking.

In fact, someone who has played 93 games for one of the best national teams in the world by the age of 26 would be an improvement to our overall squad. He wouldn't be a guaranteed starter but we're lacking bench quality.

Podolski would walk in to Arsenlol and probably be second highest paid player

Full genius, you shouldn't have gone there.

Because of our bullshit wagescale. But he wouldn't be played ahead of RVP obviously and Gervinho and Walcott have the wing spots sealed atm.

Supersub when we need an extra forward to chase a win/salvage a draw. And to be a safety blanket incase RVP gets injured.

Nope, putting it out there since he's had to defend himself from allegations of racism. Do you want a problem?

He could be doing a helicopter dance move or a thousand other things other than a Nazi salute.

If he intended to do it, he should take lessons from Bosnich tbh.

Even if the BL had crap strikers :)lol:) they have fantastic midfielders. Kagawa, Gotze, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Robben, Kroos, just from Dortmund and Bayern and off the top of my head.

Ba, Dzeko and Berba.
Thats the answer to great strikers IN the Bundesliga.

Newcastle and Manchester are famous for lots of things. Being in Germany is not one of them.

Bunniesman, don't bother with TT on anything to do with English football. He is that clueless.

Well glad you agree with me about strikers.

Yup there are some good attacking mids in Germany. Never said there wasn't.
However this isn't the Bundesliga thread, its the Arsenal one and IMO Arsenal have enough of that type of player to see them through. Ramsey, Wilshire, Arshavin, Arteta, Walcott, Song, Gervinho and probably a few i have forgot are enough for that role are all just as capable if not better.

The problem is without RvP playing at 100% they are a bit toothless upfront. Podolski is not close to good enough for the role of super sub or as a RvP replacement, especially for the money quoted. They need a goal scorer on the end of the pretty passes.

Arsenal should look to Italy, a poor league with some good players, not Germany, a good league with poor players.

Jovetic from Florence would be a better target.

0-0

When we're first and playing the second place team, that's a win.

Also handy that the team coming last beat the 3rd place team. Now we're 4 points ahead of 3rd with only two games to play against the bottom two teams, we're almost guaranteed to make it through the groups stages. Now it's just a matter of staying in 1st.

Now to continue our undefeated streak against West Brom this week. After them we have (in the league) Norwich, Fulham, Wigan and Everton. After a tough start to our schedule that's 5 very winnable games. We should be aiming for 15 points there.
