Meh, shit game. We played pretty poorly considering it was pretty much their reserve team. The only people that can really be happy with how they played are the back 4. Van Persie continuing his poor run of form.

The night got better after Tottenham lost though. Top 4 must surely be locked up now. Third is still iffy with Newcastle (of all teams) so close but they have a disgusting run home. Wigan away, Chelsea away, City at home and Everton away. If they win all those games they deserve to get third.

A "reserve team" yes, but FMD what a nice side to have in reserves. I agree with the sentiment re : Arteta though. The guy is the crucial cog in the Arsenal machine. Ramsey was very, very poor in the first half, but thankfully improved in the second.

I think we were unlucky to lose tbh. Two shots hitting the post, including an absolute sitter that RvP missed.

Third is basically sewn up - who would have thought?

A point away to Stoke is a good point. All the other big teams (United, Spurs, Chelsea and City) have all come away from the Brittania with at most a point. It's a tough place to go and we never win there.

Am i disappointed we didn't win? Yeah. But given the Newcastle result i think i'll take it.

Two winnable games left and even if Spurs and Newcastle manage to pick up max points from their games in hand we will still be 1 point in front with a superior GD.

Would have to be a colossal f**k up to screw it from here.

Wouldn't be an Arsenal season without us crawling over the line.

Let's hope he's here to play on the left next to RVP and not here to replace him.

As an addition to the squad, the biggest signing in years for us. As a replacement to the best player in the EPL, heartbreaking.

It's hilarious that the German FeederLiga continues it's production line of talent to Europes big leagues.

It's hilarious that a "feeder league" club is well ahead of yours and in the UCL final.
When was the last time your team was in a UCL final sorry?

The derp never fails in this one.

Meh, who really cares? German clubs stay paid. Podolski only fits in with the village team who have small ambition because his fragile mentality can't handle pressure - I guess that's why he's at Arsenlol.

Biggest signing ever according to you

He's scored lots of goals for Germany. Hardly just a small time player.

Prinzessin Poldi confirmed hey. This'll be hilarious

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcHdHNbC3jM&sns=em

I've been singing that all day. Es gibt einen Fußball-Gott indeed.

Great signing for a number of reasons :

* It was completed well before the start of the window. Apparently (as we knew) it was done a while ago, but both clubs agreed to 'silence.'

* Proven International - 95 caps and only 26.

* Legitimate goal scorer in a top league - nearly 20 goals in this years BL, for a struggling side. I read a stat yesterday which said that Poldi was directly involved with 68% of Köln's goals.

* The first well known player we've signed since Arshavin. I dare say that Poldi's worldwide fame easily surpasses that of Andrey's.

* A serious signal of intent to supporters, the rest of the league and RvP.

* Proven to be able to play in a 4-3-3. He'll no doubt slot in on the left hand side, with Gervinho/Theo/Ox on the right.

He's also a proven sook things don't go right. He couldn't handle the tough and competitive nature of Bayern where people don't give him kisses and cuddles like they do for the Nationalelf. He couldn't justify at least 60 of his caps given form for both club and country but Löw has ignored all that for years. Rarely has a German result hinged on Podolski.

What am I saying, it was that nasty Bavarian dialect he couldn't get his head around  I hope his English is better than his German

Good luck to him though. I expect him to be in the first plane back to Köln when things go wrong but we'll see if maybe he's finally mature. Maybe Wenger will be the sympathetic Löw he needs.

In all honesty, who the hell can?! Crazy Bavarians.

But yes, I do wholeheartedly concur about the sook thing. But the guy is Rambo compared to a lot of today's primadonnas though.

f**k we are lucky. I imagine that Norwich game must have been great for a neutral. I broke my iPod charger because of it. You could tell we were going to concede. Seconds after VP scored what we thought was the winner the whole team just dropped in intensity and were far too casual on the ball.

I didn't even watch the Spurs game because i assumed they would have raped Villa. Esp with how Mcgenius has them playing atm.

Tough game this weekend. Going to have to play a lot better if we are going to win away from home against WBA in Woy's last game. In saying that, i'd probably rather player West Brom away then Fulham at home. They've had some good results away from home this season, Anfield, Emirates, Stanford bridge and unlucky not to get something from the United game.

Won't be able to watch the games live but i think i'll record the Arsenal game, find out the Spurs result and then watch the Arsenal game.

I hear you buddy. I watched it with some mates rather than by myself, and may have forgotten at several times that I wasn't watching the game alone as per usual. Thankfully no women were in attendance at the time.

Sagna breaking his leg, right where the previous fracture was, is almost as devastating as the result itself too. Poor guy - no Euro's for him.

The anticipation would kill me. I can't not watch the game - torture or not.

When I first saw it a few weeks ago, I hated it. Ungodly, unattractive and un-Arsenal.

Now, I'm still not a fan, but I no longer hate it. There's too much going on : red, white, blue and black. I do like the blue stripe, but the black colour ruins it for me.

The only reason i think it looks ok in that picture is because it matches the logo behind it. But the logo on the chest just looks shit on that shirt.

God knows they thought it'd be a good idea to pick RvP and shrink him to be as tall as Wilshere and Oxlade. He's like 10-15cm taller than they are. There's a video to go with it that's pretty good. Has Wilshere and Arteta kicking a ball around which is nice to see haha.

It's going to ruin my Monday for me. How the f**k am i going to last a whole day without hearing about the result or staying off the Arsenal forum. Especially on a Monday.

So stupid that they have it it on a Sunday over there. You'd think they would have put the last weekend of games on the Saturday with how big the international audience will be. I guess it will only really affect the people living in NZ, like myself. Must be on at like 12-1 o'clock over there for you lucky bastards.
