You're dreaming bud. We could really only afford to go for one of them in which it should be Tommy Turbo as fb.
Jake would be very handy but our pack is good enough. We need a quality back but can't see them splitting up unfortunately.

Seriously, we couldn't even keep the Morris twin brothers at our club and they were born & bred in the Illawarra with their Dad a former club legend. We have f.ckin zero chance with the Turbo brothers.
All the Jetskis in Wollongong wouldn't get them to the Dragons.

You're thinking of their cousin, Noone Trbojevic.

A change of coach and it might happen.
If we cleared the decks of all of our current dead would we could manage it. Players to let go are:

1. Turbo - for Dufty - net cost 750k
2. Saab - for Ravalawa - net cost nil

3. Lomax - for Aitken - net gain 150k
4. Lafai - 2020 only
5. Pearson

6.Norman - for Widdop - already gone for 2020 - net gain 200k
7. Hunt
8. Timm - for Latimore - net gain 100k
9. McInnes
10. Vaughan
11. T Sims
12. Frizell
13. Turbo - for De Belin / Kafusie - net cost 450k

14. K Sims
15. Leilua
16. Host
17. Ford

Also gone:
Graham - net gain 600k
Kerr - for Blacker - net gain 50k
Robson - for Lovadoa already gone for 2020 - net gain 50k
Maranta - for Junior centre- net gain 50k
Runciman - for Junior centre - net gain 50k
Allgood - for junior - net gain 50k

Net costs 1.2m
Net gains 1.3m

Yes some hard decisions relating to the lock position have to be made to be in a position to buy the Turbo Brothers.

So with approx. 100k gain after a roster purge and plus what is left over from 2019 - use to front end a player for season 2020 - we should manage to be able to afford the Turbo brothers.

Get on with it Millward the time to start is now. If you can do this there will be NO MORE MESS and we might just forgive you for the slimy way you got the job.

We could get a good fullback for half the dollars it would take to get Tom.....$500k - $600k would get us AJ Brimson, if you could convince him to leave the Gold Coast. Kid is going to be a star.
In my opinion he Brimson is no better than Dufty or Field.

The secret is to fill the spine first then fill the first grade 17 positions and then the remaining top 30 positions before you start to back fill. SGI are lucky to be a junior development club and so we always have juniors available to backfill if required.

Hey Possm, there is a separate thread for these kinds of posts.

Jake is better than any of our forwards except for maybe Frizzel.
He would be a massive upgrade on what we currently have.
One of the best forwards in the comp.

Tom will fetch at least a million, Jake close.

Not a chance we can afford both
To be honest if WIN's participation cannot help us secure players like these, then why are they involved at all?
We have to match the financial prowess and negotiating smarts of Easts and Melbourne if we are ever to return to the top echelon of clubs.
These two in particular could be a platform to grow from + a new coach from outside.

Brimson is miles ahead of both Dufty and Field.

I am sure Sharks will get them before anyone else. Their cap is endless. They need another couple of rep players to add to the many they have acquired lately in Woods, Morris, Johnson etc. THey are the quiet achievers when it comes to salary cap
