Hahahaha.
You're too quick on the trigger for me Dez.
How in the f**k did you get that done so quickly? Or was it a matter of 'Here's one I prepared earlier'?
The internet is an amazing thing...

Dog shit.
I'd say you've typed out the meeting minutes verbatim there Ted.You can almost imagine the NRL leadership and CEO's meeting . Attaching the game to an iconic global brand , moving forward in a seamless synergistic proactive way that maximises the brand moving forward. A holistic platform which enables the game to advertise at the marquee stadiums allowing a frictionless partnership for the future model of the vision.. Bullshit covered spin doctors all of them.

Why haven't the Australian Cricket Board explored the lucrative synergy opportunities in monetizing the baggy green cap to cross-promote the Ninja Turtles? They are behind the times my friend
The attitude of making money above all else has trickled down and enveloped everything within the game, from clubs to players and now to fans if this thread is anything to go by. There is precious little romance or idealism left in the game these days, and it is these qualities which truly attracts people in my opinion - look at the abovementioned baggy green cap on Boxing Day for example, or even our own traditional Anzac Day game. I like to think of our club as the most romantic and idealist of all, and to see us stooping to this level is, for me, a sad reflection of the state of the code as a whole.
Making money is important of course, but the costs should be considered as well as the benefits. I don't think the NRL does that enough.
Yeah I know, wasn't directed at you, Tru. I'm just on a stream-of-consciousness style ranting streak here. It's something I'm passionate about and want to discuss!!!
As much as I hate the move from our traditional home grounds, at least in some way you could argue that it shows a bit of vision, a bit of hope for the future. That the shift is allowing for growth in the game. The argument could be made.I sense it mate and Im on the same page.
From home grounds, to historic jerseys, its all about the $$$.

I think the plan is to target the very young and make as much cash as possible as they expect to lose some baby boomers and traditionalists with the big stadium policy. Just my thought
