That makes me happier knowing he wasn’t completely overlooked.

Hope he recovers quick. He’ll be a fun addition to the team this year.

We either go in underdogs and down on confidence and live up to reputation

or we go in favourites and cocky thinking we just turn up and win and get 40 out on us

Gus thinks we will win. He is pretty spot on with this sorta stuff and he never tipped us last season. I think we might snag a 2-4 point win

It will come down to how the halves go. Plenty of times last year we got into scoring position but had less of a chance of actually doing so than I would out on the town.

Very excited. Hopefully Ponga has a blinder. Our bench looks solid, perhaps even good. When was the last time we had a good bench?

I worry that our bench is underdone. Hetherington and Elliott had no game time this pre-season.

I think AOB will be relying heavily on the Saifiti's to get through at least 60 minutes each. Leo Thompson should get some good game time and he's looked really solid this pre-season.

*sigh*... time to find out if we've turned any corners or not. Hopeful... but not expecting much. You can be sloppy in round 1, but there's no excuse for anything other than 110% commitment. They should be the freshest and fittest they're going to be this season, would be nice to see them show it.

And if we do win the next game or two - can we all settle down and wait and see this year - rather than whinging at me for pointing out that the wins weren't too flash.

Think Crossland is covering Brailey, if Mann needs a break surely it will be Elliott and expect Mann to cover injuries in 1-5 and Elliott in
