With Crossland, Hastings, Ponga and Gamble on the field we have 4 capable kickers. Hopefully they mix it around and take kicks early as well. Kick early out of dummy half, Ponga kicks with his left foot, Gamble kicking it 2 passes out from the ruck on thr 5th etc. It'll be a great weapon for us going forward.

Elliott came here underdone. He’ll need time to get into the swing of things but I imagine he’ll be 13 within a month.

A fine question. A third of the way through the season he can't claim to be lacking fitness at this point.

He had an option to stay at the Dogs on 500k this year so I'd say he's on more money that people would think as well.

Hetherington is easily the biggest disappointment of the year thus far as far as recruitment goes. Has offered zero. I can only assume picking him in the starting team is an attempt to rev him up.

He isn't terrible but does nearly nothing for the 15 minutes he plays every week. Does seem disciplined though.

Would be interesting to look at minutes per game so far this year, as has been mentioned before AOB's bench use can be strange which doesn't help Hetherington. Especially now that we are playing a lot of 'small ball', to use a basketball term, with Gamble and Mann often replacing forwards and now Elliott thrown into the mix.

he was the player I was most excited about signing. I remember him taking it to JWH playing for the warriors and thought we really need that.

instead we got big Brodie Jones.

We signed him knowing he is a loose unit. We have to encourage his natural aggressive game. Hopefully he is a little smarter this time around, and we don’t have him sidelined as a result.

I was coming here to say the same thing, presumably (hopefully) its his last chance rather than a promotion type deal.

We could really do with the 2 points from this game. I feel like the 8 will be slipping away if we don’t win this.

I feel like we need to put in an 80 minute performance if we are to beat the Sharks. I still don't think we have that in us though unfortunately.

I hope I'm wrong obviously.
