I was going to ask how people feel about dropping players for this now its the second time its happened. I get there's standards to be set but do our players really care if they're playing firsts or reserves. Give him a fine and get him out there, he's one of our best players and Tuala is awful. I'd rather see Daniel Plodfiti lining up for reserves after his effort than Marzhew for being late to the bus.

I don't have a problem with the coach setting standards. Missing the bus might not seem like a big deal but he has to be consistent.

The point about people not performing on the field not getting the same treatment is a fair one though.

Eh, as crappy as it is for us on the field we couldn’t not drop him after we stood Tuala down for doing the same thing. It’s shit because Marzhew is actually good unlike Tuala but you set a dangerous precedent if you start holding players to different standards based on their level of talent.

Totally in agreement with everyone though that Dan should have been dropped too for his on field performance.

Seriously though, I'm all for setting standards. Don't care how big or small this is perceived to be. If Marzhew's job was to be there by 9am then I expect him to be there by 9am. Moron.

It’s sadly telling how bad Dan is going that he’s been replaced by Brodie Jones and none of us mind.

I’ve been wondering if maybe he’s been playing injured for a while (DSaf)…but probably just soft.

He had been playing injured but I thought he would be recovered by now esp with the 2 BYEs we had.

This is a game where it would have been nice to have both Saifitis set a good platform. Although any game this year that would have been nice.

My worry is that we’re going to get monstered by the Roosters size wise. As bad as DSaf has been going at least he’s a big body.
