I wish the club would hold off tapping more blokes on the shoulder for this week (if the reports are to be believed).

I get that we were never really into this season so made sense to start a roster overhaul, but now that we’re still hanging around you’d hope they’d put a pause on it momentarily (although the club is constantly in self-destruct mode so this is probably business as usual for the squad).

Felise Kaufusi had his charge downgraded and will play. TBH that doesn't bother me, and one of his brain snaps could even work in our favour.

Looking through their teamlist and the backline is strong, and similar to us it's a bit of a makeshift halves pairing. We're gonna need Gagai and Bradman at their best (pun intended), as perfect reads on Hammer and Farnworth will be required.

We have them covered in the forwards on paper but like a typical Bennett side they'll punch above their weight.

Cogger hasn't been terrible the past few weeks. Gamble would be a huge plus though. Whoever plays doesn't matter. We just need to get Ponga on the ball 2 or 3 times every set. Every set.

Yeah if whether we can beat the Dolphins or not comes down to whether Kaufusi plays we wouldn’t go close to winning a finals game.

I was a bit surprised Hammer wasn’t cited though.

AOB could be doing a Bennett and springing some changes just before kickoff. I expect some changes in the halves because no doubt Bennett would’ve trained his squad to target the named playmakers. If AOB doesn’t have a plan mix something up in the halves at some stage, then he’s just stupid.
it’d be great to think he won’t need to, but this season has proven tough in nailing down a solid halves combination.

Everyone is writing us off. Wankers in the media are even making out that Wayne has a vendetta against us. As if us paying him a million dollars a year while he completely f**ked us over somehow makes him resent us.

f**k Wayne. f**k his team. Let’s hammer the pricks.

I prefer to be written off tbh - but yeah the messiah Bennett thing is a bit much.

I’m weirdly calm about the game no matter the outcome. This time last year I was really stressed - I think because we were all enjoying the run we were on and knew it would end at some stage. I want us to go as far as we can this year, but I’m also not dreading our season ending like I was last year.

Would be nice to end Wayne’s time at the Dolphins before we go out though.

My expectations are on the floor. I expect the Dolphins to do us by 13+.

Even if we win I don't know if I'm that excited but our finals prospects, but hey, maybe we have a magic gear we can shift into and win another 5 on the trot.

The fact we are still pissing off the Fox League know it alls is victory in itself. I don’t know. Perhaps the player’s internal rage at being broken up may have a silver lining. But an absolute smashing of this Dolphins side is a must if we are any chance next week should we get there.
