I've ionly read Page 1 but disagree with the vast majority. Not sure what happened before but It looked to me like he was lining up to smash Thurston and just got the timing all wrong. At some point before contact, he would have realised that it was about to go very wrong but didn't have time to pull out even if he'd wanted to.

Not deliberate IMO, definitely reckless and on the high side of that.

Not sure how they grade these but we can start the bidding at 4 weeks I guess.

Yes, we're talking about Thurston, one of the game's tougher competitors, particularly when it comes to halves. He never takes a dive despite being taken out 4/5 kicks he puts in.

Don't know how long you've been watching the game but kickers don't 'taken out' anymore. Not like they used to anyway.

I don't know about that, Tariq Sims got Hornby and Soward good on a few occasions and Merrin got one of the NQ boys good as well after a kick. The only difference was that dopey Merrin went in with a shoulder where as Tariq was smart enough to make the hits with a tackle.
