the girl was nice and apologetic .... the people on the front line are doing their best to sort it out

she went on about how they know there were some issues - they tried to re-issue a bunch of memberships they know went wrong (I don't know how) - said something about how the resend should come by the end of the week but then said she'd send anotyher pack express post ...... so tbh I think she was a bit confused and rambling .... i assume their management have fed them something to tell people to try and smooth it over with people

i'm not pissed off with them really - for all I know it got stolen in the mail???? - there's probably some postie who opened it and was really disappointed with what the score was :lol:

I had the same issues, they have send me a second pack which doesn't have a ticket but has all the gear. I believe my original pack has now arrived so I have two seat sleeves now.

In saying that, the staff have been great to date and have said they'll look at alternatives for the delivery of the packs next year...

AFAIK the packs are being done by a fulfilment group in China so they have to get mailed out of that country first that is why it is taking 7-10 days.

I was told basically the same thing. But they were telling me end of this week. Then it was the end of next week.

I have no doubt they are reading from some sort of prepared answer.

Another thing. Is there a contact email for Ken Edwards? If he isn't already aware of this debacle, he should be.

I was told the missing pack will come with the missing member card.

So I rang last Wednesday about the never received membership .... they express posted the junk (no ticket) ..... I now received an email today (Monday) that my membership pack has been dispatched and should come within 20 working days - fmd, if it takes 20 more days I'll be into round f'n 8 before sighting my bloody ticket!! wtf are they doing!

Actually I heard the club made $10M last year. Why not put some arsehole from the club on a plane to China to pick the f**king things up!!! Cost a couple of grand.

Good question. Hopefully they have a system in place for 2014 to get the packs out before Xmas like other clubs who are run more professionally do. At least that way there is plenty of time to sort out any stuff ups.

I find it puzzling how you can go into any Leagues club and they can knock you up a magnetic membership card with a photo in the space of 2 minutes yet it takes months on end for the club to organize and deliver their membership cards.
