I am definately on board. I am sick to death of watching our games and turning to old mate and saying "we need to f**k him off". "He is hopeless" etc etc. I think the term used is we have not had a hard edge to our games and couldn't defend a narrow lead, or couldn't have someone out there that could direct a come back.

You just knew the script and our usual leading actors would follow it to a tee.

I believe we have waited long enough, we are now cashed up and it is time to clear the decks and get rid of the deadwood. I like Morris as a bloke and I assume the players did too. But we were going nowhere and getting there fast.

The time is ripe for a major cleanout and it is happening. I am all for it.

The board seems to want success and are willing to act to get that success. A marked improvement on our usual attitude which would have seen Morris rewarded with a new contract. I’m all for it. Be ruthless. Nice guys finish last as they sat.

Your defence of bomber is quite strong and that’s ok but don’t ask the forum to set KPIs. Trust that the board had done so and this is why 8th isn’t good enough anymore.

If you want an answer which is a guess then let’s say that if we are not in the top 4 by the end of 2024 then I will take it all back.

Of the sharks fans I see on Twitter and other social media seem to want the board gone due to the Morris decision and the results since (which will get way worse in the next month).

Yet in here I don’t see much of this opinion.

Who here is of the opinion that the board are hopeless and should step down? I find it hard to believe everyone here is backing them as much as I am.

Look Dino - if it aint broke dont fix it.
But we were broke.
Since the GF win one would hope a dynasty would begin.
An era where we threatened to add another every season, however we lost the mojo we had created.
The aura where we the team nobody wanted to play in the big ones.
We became the side who couldnt even compete with the top half of the competition.

So yep - we needed fixing.

It’s not rich at all if you think about what you actually suggested. Who takes that job when the KPI is to win the comp. KPIs are smaller parts that form the whole picture. So a top 4 finish while maintaining cap compliance and junior development might form the complete set. Not to win the comp. If you aren’t going to discuss it properly then just jump back on Twitter and tell everyone the board should be sacked.
