I give this DoggiesBro character 10/10 for his trolling efforts.

Anyways, what's the "Des on the Driveway" story???

Imagine your coach signed else where then took all support staff and signed your most useless players to big money contracts and also put a clause in the useful players contracts saying "if the coach leaves I can leave" then failed massively trying to poach the stars he signed in said contracts, you'd think he was a shit merkin to! I wish the dogs nothing other than extreme failure

Same goes to his staff, seriously did you hear the "Des on the driveway" story? I wouldn't be shocked if true

Like Fire I'd like to know the story.

Oh, and FYI, the last coach of my club was a bloke named Bennett. I am forever indebted to him for delivering our 16th Premmy after a 31 year wait (cue the softcocks...). I don't wish him unbridled success at his new club, but I don't hate on him either.

The story goes that Des waited in the driveway of one of his support staff and wouldn't leave until he came out and signed a contract to go to the Dogs. I like to believe it's true, it's a pretty funny story.

haha doggiesbro. what a butthurt doggies fan.

all the money in the world but no success ahahah must suck seeing 3 minor premierships with no premiership.

buys another clubs coach and takes all the coaching staff
that wasnt good enough so they buy 2 internationals mid year and still no premiership

haahahhaahahahha at least manly have had 2 premierships since your last one.
butthurt doggies fan. keep being a troll thats all you have left.

what rubbish are you dribbling, we already had a more succesful season then womanly with a roster des had no influence on till he arrived.

we punished womanly in the finals and before the finals. we made the gf, and while the difference was clearly cooper cronk and his ability to kick to kill barba not many clubs could do it all year, we lost by 10. including a horrible bounce for poor old joshie morris.

storm flogged womanly by 40+ in the finals after we belted them.

your only as good as your last year. we were 2nd to storm.

look forward seeing des get the best out of our players agian, while toovey makes not one single player improve in your line up, don't worry though that horrible international forward won't help create crap for you anymore, he will play unreal for des again though with big kas and big frank :lol::lol:

Gee some Moanly fans struggle with the concept of gratitude. Two Premierships and they still diss the coach that got them there. Strange.

No suprise, it's called butthurt. They still stinging from the whooping des and the doggies gave them. The thing that hurts more is they know its going to get worse for them with big trexxxxxx running at them soon.

Toovey didn't go too badly. His team just peaked too early. They had their best game of the year against the Bunnies just before the finals.

After that they slowly dwindled off

He gets a pass mark this year and a chance to do better and learn from mistakes next year. In any case he has to be rated to be overrated, which he isn't

Most overrated was Kearney. Now that he is gone, it's easily Parras new coach. Ricky road the coattails of Fittler to a Grand Final and has been living off it ever since. Just a poor coach who undermines the stability of a team

Ricky Stuart. Inherited a great team in '02, and has done f**k all since '04. Mal has to get a mention aswell, he's a motivator, the other blokes do the actual coaching

Cheers mate.

Sounds like one of those gee ups guys tell in the pub. Still, if it is true it's a pretty funny story.

It's a bit like those emails that supposedly exist. Hot air from a club that's apparently "moved on"

Wayne Bennett anyone? Sells his soul to the fat man for $2,000,000 a season all to finish 12th!

1st time in 20+ years one of his sides doesn't make the semis and he's overrated?

With the shit he had to work with at the Knights last season its a wonder they didnt finish further down the ladder. Polishing turds and all that

We don't have a history of lying like you do

Bullfrog lied to Arko face to face about the super league defection

The mails will come out when you least need them to

I really don't see what Gus see's in Cleary. His record with the Warriors was just a little over 50% despite having a very talented roster and his inability to get the Warriors playing consistent football from March right through to September left a lot to be desired.
I dunno, he didnt really have halves of any quality until last year. He got the Warriors playing pretty consistant footy in '10 (only to get done by the titans and get eliminated from 5th) with an average halves pairing and he did well to prepare Johnson for an introduction to first grade at the appropriate time.

TBH if Cleary stayed at the Warriors they might've kicked on a bit this season. I think Gus and Cleary are doing the right thing at Penrif really, it might take a while though.

Cleary rated about right (not a superstar, not a spud).

Agreed on Neil Henry though
