Agreed. Same applies to Mitchell Pearce.
The first two times QLD came that way Merritt shut it down by being in Inglis face. Once Thurston adjusted and started hitting Boyd out the back we had no answer. Bad part is, if Merritt hangs back and waits, Inglis would have just made Morris look ordinary instead. Solution is, you just can't let QLD continually have half a set inside your 20 metres.
Except Morris has handled Inglis very well the last few series. Merritt had no right to come in when Josh was standing directly infront of Inglis.
Justin Hodges was worse on debut.. imagine if QLD never picked him again after that match

Bad communication between him and Josh Morris cost the Blues dearly. .
I think he deserves another chance for sure...
