Well, QLD have a weakness. Dane Gagai should be targeted by our kicking game and pounded each and every time he attempts to return the ball. There should not be a run he makes where he gains any territory. None. He's a very poor defender as well so plenty must be aimed down his side. Surely Laurie knows this and it will be a huge part of the game strategy.

I hope Fergo is on his game in defence. He can make some very poor reads. I fear he'll be worked over very easily.

If there is can you tell me why? Very f**king confused by his selection.

I don't but I can see an argument for it along the lines that he has all the attributes of a great utility, is fast and strong, can play in the halves if someone gets injured, could just about cover any position. In the final 20 when everyone is tired I can see a guy like walker coming on and making some strong runs. All very hopeful though as he certainly doesn't deserve to be picked on form.

Fair to say Moylan is the better runner of the footy

Like i said before, theres really only a split hair between them.

Moylan is as good as Coote at fullback but more creative and could cover other positions better.

The only dumb decision in this side is Reynolds not being named captain.

Walker I think is good enough as a center to make Origin. But form should play a big role in making your debut in Origin. He hasnt done that this year at all

Queensland will have Gillett patrolling the right side. Probably the best cover defender in the competition right now. Problem solved.

Daley's tactic was kick to Boyd's wing much as possible in game 3 last year.
Daley knows Dane is dangerous in kick returns.
Is when Dane takes one out hit ups he struggles and gets pushed back.
But with Oates in the team hopefully he shouldn't need to take too many of those.
