Bathurst council kick the tin pretty hard to get us up there, if they were willing to go hard for multiple games then it could be a very smart move in a lot of ways.

What I liked last week was so many kids in Panthers jersey's that to me makes it worth it.

I presume at some stage the club with survey sponsors and members to gauge interest in where we go. There is no way we are pulling 17k to Thurs night games at Parra. I am guessing half of that. Not all sponsors will be interested in coming across.

So if we are going to pull 11k crowds then why not move it around to hopefully keep those kids as rusted on fans

In the section about numbering features in preferential order I put hills 2nd last and First Nations art last. I hope they don’t think I’m racist just because I think accessible toilets and closeness of seating is more important. 😂

How many of the sponsors actually service east of Blacktown?
King and Lewis have a corporate Box. But are based at Emu Plains.
Will they move the box across to Parra when they don't service the area? especially if we get slammed with Weeknight games

so I am not sure if they get a reduced rate to sign on for the next two seasons. On the proviso they sign up for the new stadium.

a lot of these don't.
Take Nepean Aquatic Centre. Unless you are in the local area then you aren't going to go to the swimming lessons there

Western Weekender - speaks for itself really

I am not saying we base all the games at Bathurst but use a few different grounds.
Bathurst pays the club $300k so an extra game or 2 a season helps with the shortfall
Campbelltown has the potential to bring in more fans/sponsors. Especially as these ones will be back in the new stadium
Taking games to Campbelltown is a good idea. Tigers are a trainwreck so we can win over some new supporters there.

13 home games
6 at Parra
1 as the home team at Magic Round
2 Bathurst

Sell the rest to other areas. Makes up for the lost corporate/members

Line of sight number 1?

For me that is a must

Every game wouldn't be viable there or Bathurst for that matter, but it has a part time team and close enough to attend the new stadium. Also the area is starved of footy so might bring other corporates onboard

View was #1 for me as well. Roof coverage and accessibility to food and drinks and being able to see the game whilst in line like at Parra. Kind of the main points I brought up. Good way finding as well. What stadiums did you reference? I probably referenced half a dozen at best.

I am not a soccer fan but US have some good stadiums. MSL sizes are perfect

Red Bull Arena is my Favourite
BBVA Compass in Houston
TQL in Cincinnati

Are the top 3 ones and the 1st 3 I listed

It’s not about them servicing east of Blacktown, it’s about Parramatta being closer than Bathurst to take their clients to.

I already said a couple of extra games at Bathurst would be fine, but anymore than that would be risking losing touch with Sydney based fans & sponsors. Even more so considering we’ve spent a lot of the last two years away or without people at the games.

Hence why I think a few fall off in the short term.

It is just not feasible to go to Parramatta every 2nd week

It won’t be every second week assuming a couple extra go to Bathurst. 9 games over 6 months is 1 every 3 weeks. Hardly a massive task.

Spreading ourselves too thin I think would be a mistake. Bathurst makes a lot of sense because it’s a genuine nursery for the team, but I don’t see one or two visits to another location making much impact over the medium to long term.

location is the issue. No extra parking was put in
Even driving in the Parra CBD is ruined by the Light Rail. Which doesn't go out to Penrith.

I think potentially could go ok on Sunday but weeknights will be a poor crowd. How many new sponsors/members will it bring in? I can't see any.

So get the money you can elsewhere. If extra members/sponsors come from it is a bonus.
To host Magic round you get paid. As to certain grounds it limits the damage
