You’re probably not wrong. I’m certainly not holding my breath. Super Rugby is anything but right now and hard to see it getting any better anytime soon.
I have turned my back on Rugby Union as this World Cup did it for me with the blow out's, TMO's, Ref's, England easy ride in the semi's and arrogance and then seeing the Boks BOAR us into the final ( 1st half of the qtr final with France was what Rugby Union should look like) and then it's all about the prehistroic Scrum that results in a kick at goal.
If I want to see constantly kicking then I watch Soccer ( not Womens though), Aussie and Gaelic.
As long as Bill Beaumont is in charge along with the other old farts remain in charge then I'm not intrested and now with the new World League keeping out Tier 2 nations I just hope for a breakaway.

I look at it the opposite way. When the Wahs are playing well, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and the game is booming. It's when they aren't doing well is when you want a second team because you have more of a chance of at least one of them doing well at any one time to keep the momentum of the game going. It also kicks the Warriors in the arse to help them reach their potential through competition.
Yeh absolutely this

the phins have helped the lazy broncos grow

Without AFB, the Warriors are DED...

A middling forward pack at best
He's staying although given how much money he's on I kinda wish he went..
1.2 million for the 4th or 5th best front rower is kinda crazy.

The whole thing played out good though because these actions have shown that he's wanted by the club and that might take his game to another level.

NZ2 hopes are non existent for Team 18 in my view …

Too much action happening elsewhere and no one is really running with this..

Revisit in 2030…

Likely not to be in at all if PNG is club 18, or be team 20 if the Dolphins and Broncos push back on Brisbane3 for team 20.

Still looks most likely at this moment in time (agree with the choices or not):
Club 18 PNG
Club 19 Perth
Club 20 Brisbane 3 or NZ2

Wasnt aware of this …

The aim should be showing more games more NRL games on FTA over there …
Sky sport pretty much has a monopoly on live sport. Even with the Warriors the only free to Air you’ll get is a couple of hours delayed (if you’re lucky) on one of the ‘lesser’ channels (that has a relationship with sky)
They don’t have the live FTA agreements Aus has for national teams etc

Our current deal has games on fta

this should be expanded

Either way Hamilton is the spot for me... anywhere else won't cut it, a 2nd team needs to be right on the doorstep of the 1st one
The crowd today for the Kiwis game isn’t showing too much of an appetite for Hamilton…
