You just keep moving the goal post.
You lost. Get over it.
no I dont, I was talking about the appetite for investors to buy a new NRL club in Christchurch, WB brought up Souths and Broncos value which has little relevance to how enticing buying a NRL start up club in Christchurch would be.

The price of his 25% was never declared, oonce again youre going off made up news stories
Not to mention Souths would have to be the second best investment in NRL after Broncos. Compared to a new start up in a small union city the two are incomparable from an investment opportunity point of view.
Yes it was

valuation of 80 million bucks

pretty sure the dragons sold equity at 50 million valuation too

is the fact nrl clubs are valuable upsetting you in some way?

all the articles are there on google

“According to the Daily Telegraph, fellow high profile part owners - media mogul James Packer and Hollywood actor Russell Crowe - were set to receive $10 million each following the recent injection from Cannon-Brookes.”

20 million paid for 25 percent (80 million valuation)

yet Perth red says the figures were never released

Rl is booming across nz. A second NZ teams market prospects are half of All NZ.. .. regardless, NRL brands are going global !
These licenses ( teams) values are growing exponentially! The current value of an NRL club would be double what it was 10 years ago .

It would be worth owning ANY NRL team from a business prospective just for the resale alone!

But let not forget WHY people would won't to own an NRL team..?
For the same reason they buy massive yachts... because they can!

Now f**k off back to your dumb Perth thread.

Warriors 16 million sale price in 2018
from same article sounded a great investment lol

'It's understood that CHT have sold their share for significantly less than they paid for it, which will result in a multi-million dollar loss for the Trust.'

'But the CHT, which was set up with the proceeds of the development of Carlaw Park, have ultimately decided they couldn't afford to invest any more Trust money in an NRL club, with the Warriors expected to need significant funding over the next few years.'

No,I dont, nor do you.
And again we are talking the risk of a start up in a small non RL city and the appetite for investment.

If its so lucrative why arent we seeing non RL investment companies falling over themesleves to buy into clubs? Christchurch has been on Facebook begging ffs, its not like they are having their door beaten down by all these new sports investment groups clearly.

Why didnt we see a lot more bids for the second Brisbane license from independent financers? That is a far more lucrative opportunity and, apart from the bombers group who were all Rl people anyway, not one investment group put their hand up. But yeh Im sure you know better than the actual reality of whats happened.

He'll just ignore that.
Any valid points are ignored.
Especially the ones that destroy his argument!
It's like talking to a woman.
Give me the Christchurch license

itd be like winning the lottery

once the nrl announces they want a second nz team they will be swamped for bidders

a Christchurch team will have better economics than Perth

Of course. That's obvious.
What Perth Red is saying though is that if you break it down into small irrelevant cherry picked evidence unrelated to reality - it simply doesn't stack up.
Perth does though because there's sand there, lots of sand and good rugby league training can be done running up sand dunes- Perth has a great business case! I mean, look at all that sand! Untapped Rugby league gold mine!
