Origin attracts it's audience in a completely different way than internationals, or it did at least. Heritage rules and other nonsense are slowly f**king it up as well.How has origin continued to grow then? I mean how many years has qlnd dominated in the last 20?

on the back of kangaroo dominance of the 80’s the test matches of the 90’s were brilliant.
inthink it has a lot more to do with the nrl attitude to IRL and the Australian media dismissal of the international game. Some of the coverage is downright disrespectful at times.
If the poms want to see who's most responsible for the death of international RL they need only look in the mirror. . . The RFL's mismanagement killed international RL as a commercial product, and the entitled attitude the poms have and shaming tactics they use to try and get the NRL to participate only make it worse.
