They can theoretically sell chch as coming in 2030 into the upcoming tv deal

it’s what the afl did with Tasmania
That's the plan I think, bears could be very well end up then too, but its more likely that thet come in all staggered to let the player market settle between each new franchise

The article does say 20 teams by 2032

dunno if they mean announced or entered

of it’s the latter then he’s probably thinking of adding 19 and 20 at the same time imo

they will have had longer to prepare for entry than team 18

You need some, fkn negative nancy on every thread, probably need some Viagra too, just let off some steam

You know you don't have to agree with the dumb shit he's posting just because I'm the one putting shit on it right?

No the NRL is not the "big time" in the "global sporting world."

I didn't agree, all I said was you need to lighten up, coz you're very posts on every thread is pessimistic, not one ounce of any information or data comes from you that isn't a digg at someone or something in a condescending or negative manner

No, but they're on their way. Vegas is the party to attend and be seen attending.. that they will for 4 more years. People don't understand, V'landys is trying to take the NRL to global mainstream, what you're alluding to.
I think it can. We have the man for the job.
He’s upset rugby league is taking away from mlr

On its way to being as popular as the biggest sporting leagues in the world. Ffs this guy has got to be a union troll over here to make league fans look delusional.

So, Rugby isn't global? Please go on...
After you've come to understand Rugby is global... take your time....
Then, of all the professional Rugby competitions around the world.. which is the biggest...?
Take all the time you need.

Just make a 3rd team for Wellington, way down the track, that southern orcas brand seems to be pretty well thought out... best to capitalise on the Christchurch bidders first then a decade later ask for interest in Wellington after that
Auckland. Christchurch. Wellington.

Put a team in all three cities and invest in the junior competitions. With the annual grant being so high there shouldn't be any problems keeping the teams viable.
