It's the other half of the suggested bench, Levi and Sione arent exactly giants, and forgetting size for a moment that bench doesnt have much NRL experience either
Experience I agree with, size is definitely there, Sione will be over 100kg by the time the season rolls around and his most comfortable position is backrow and I suspect Saulo will be well over the 110kg mark by then as he was playing at 107kg this season and is only just turned 20.

I'm just putting it out there but anyone think Sione should model his game on Taumololo's?
Sione isn't the biggest backrower but runs great lines and I think he could be the impact player we have been looking for, or one of them. Instead of waiting for the ball on the fringes, I would love to see him get the ball off the player makes running into holes or running hard at the oppositions halves all game. Hopefully Moga is good to go next season because I wanna see Sione really play go his potential.

Or should I just go back to watching my SBW highlights on YouTube?

Subway Saulo will end up a large lad by the time he finishes growing. Could be a future weapon, let hope he chows down on some angry pills and isnt like the powder puffs we have at present.

You know it wouldn't surprise me if Glasby ends up in reserve grade. Bloke just seems primed to be one of those guys that deteriorates rapidly outside the Storm system... and I don't even particularly rate the guy IN that system.

Might make it in the 13... but even then I quite like the idea of Herman there.

If we get Klemmer (still an IF given the Bulldogs haven’t released him yet) and not factoring in any other signings this is what my 2019 round 1 team would look like.

1. Watson
2. Lee
3. Moga
4. Ramien
5. SKD
6. Ponga
7. Pearce (c)
8. Klemmer
9. Levi
10. Herman
11. Fitzgibbon
12. Sione
13. Guerra

14. Buhrer (c)
15. D. Saifiti
16. Glasby
17. Barnett

I don’t really care whether Levi starts or comes off the bench but he’s not an 80 minute hooker at this stage so maybe plays 55-60 mins with Buhrer doing the rest.

Potentially if we sign Jennings, Mann, Gavet etc. then there could be some interesting selection headaches for Brown as well.

I'm gonna have a go at it

1. Ponga
2. Lee
3. Ramien
4. Moga
5. SKD

6. Watson
7. Pearce

8. Klemmer
9. Seyarao
10. Saifiti
11. Fitzgibbon
12. Guerra
13. Ese'ese

14. Buhrer
15. Glasby
16. Oates
17. Mata'utai

Ese'ese comes off for Oates who moves into the second row and Guerra moves into lock for the first interchange. Ese'ese and Glasby rotates in the middle while Mata'utai rotates with the second towers now.

That team looks very strong, great potential to improve drastically throughout the season and next couple of years and we'll balanced.

Make it happen.

Oates re-signed with Brisbane didn’t he? Don’t want him anyway to be honest. Would rather give Jacob a bench spot.
