Return to Parra ends in tears for Queen Gutho. Parras new boy Zac Lomax kills off his old team in golden point..
One team just climbed off the bottom of the ladder. Can the Dolphins do the same?

Looks like they can...and looks like I'm going 0-5 in tips this week, after battling to 2 last week, and getting the full 8 the previous week. I consume so much NRL content with this site, articles, podcasts but I can't pick the right one in a two-horse race.

Papali’i’s came along at the wrong time, he entered the NRL with a flog like Adam Blair as his mentor coming through. He had a strong year or 2 at Parra, but outside of that he has been a Blair/Tigers and Warriors type of first grader
A 'Blair Tigers/Warriors type of FGer' is an awful insult to cop

26-18, Broncos but with 25 mins to go momentum could be with Wests.

Wests need to stand up in defence. Brisbane score here and it's over...

Same, tipping's a nightmare. I got Parra though. Scriptwriters couldn't have done it better at Parra Stadium.

Commentators and pundits are talking the Tigers up but it's 32-18 at the mo. They're still getting done...

...44-18 and Walsh bombs the 50 by overthinking the last play. Is he as good as he was in his first two years? No, he no longer plays instinctively. The Tigers don't deserve to have 50 on them anyway.

46-24, Broncos. Final. Walsh dives for a last-minute penalty.

Haven’t seen any footy for 2 days so looking forward to it tonight, no expectations though even though we have had a good record against them the last few seasons. Last years game was absolutely brutal, Olakau’atu was smashing them left right and centre

Hasler wouldn’t take questions last night, just spoke about how the NRL are short changing the fans with these crack downs and a wee dig about how Origin will be

Only took the Luai incident to completely change the way the law was interpreted, so he's right.

And we all know Origin is refereed differently.

Every season it seems they have a mindless CT crackdown, just weird imo

Don’t know what to make of the season so far tbh

the same ref who we couldnt buy a sinbin from against the Tigers, was handing them out like candy in the Dolphins game yesterday. Guess he wasnt taking any chances upsetting Graeme 2 weeks in a row.

No footy fun for me at all this weekend as I'm just working. It's lucky it's not a Warrior weekend, although I missed last Sunday's beauty at Wests too.

There's not a lot of Warriors games in Sydney either (for me to attend) and time is marching on as they say.

Just looking at my post it's all about me, sorry. But you guys know what I mean by being pressed for time. Especially precious 'footy-watching' time.

I might be in a bit of strife, just been through the mall with the young fella, he spotted NRL cards at Paper Plus, got him a few packets. Opened his first one and got a special card, said to me “Dad I want to get Tom” and he opens up his 2nd pack and there is Tom Trbojevic. He may be hooked now and the wife won’t be impressed at all

Takes me back to 1991 when my dad sent me into the dairy with $2 and I came out with 4 packs with the bubble game isside and they had a puzzle of the 1990 Kangaroo tour on the back

well they say cream usually rises to the top so i guess we will find out if the Panthers are made of cream?
Used to be chocolate 😆

They will rise, but clearly are feeling it. Last year they could flick the switch overnight, that’s evaded then so far.. but the best team remains a challenge for anyone

The NRL/refs make it so hard for themselves. The Luai incident was blatant and a no brainer 10 mins in the bin under any interpretation. Now they are over-reacting. It's pathetic. I've said this about 100 times but the NRL needs more intelligent refs and ref leaders (pay them more and that's probably what you will eventually get).

Couldn't possibly agree with this more. Rugby union referees are far more intelligent in their interpretations of rules, and they have more grey areas to deal with

My daughter saw a packet of NRL cards at Paper Plus as well, $8 I think they were!! It hurt me to say no but geez it's not as simple as when we went to Card Crazy back in the day and came out with a lot for not much. Or maybe my memory hasn't reminded me that my olds felt the same...
