Construction

tradies are in building lol

and their wages have all gone out of control

even a leading hand (labourer) is on around 120k plus
Yeah that is true for some places. I have a mate, labourer LH on 110k. The Sup was contracting at about 200k.
The general labourer though was on $33 per hour, through labour hire. Labourer working for them was on 28 ph.

Can't believe I'm siding with AFL Red on this one small piece of the issue - Apparently Abdo doesn’t even present most of the time. Maybe he us the invisible man.

It’s bc they are asking for 2 percent extra out if tr revenue share plus match payments from magic weekend

and also someone elected on the commission

there’s comes a point when the arlc has to say enough

When negotiating you go pie in the sky with a list of demands.

Then you negotiate down to what you really want.

The RLPA is just playing the game.

So isn't Abdo the guy to say it?

Before they get a player delegate on the ARLC

Maybe they need one on the NRL, NSWRL and QRL boards

14 months on and yet more relationship destruction and no deal just a few weeks out from kick off! Pistol Pete and his hand puppet really aren’t very good negotiators are they?

Poor PVL isn't used to having to negotiate with a commodity that isn't a horse.
He stuffed up the tv negotiations
he stuffed up the nsw stadium negotiations
he stuffed up the nswrl negotiations
and now he’s stuffing up the player negotiations

his track record isn’t great is it? Maybe your right and he should stick to horses?

NRL board?

That *is* the ARLC, the NRL entity doesn't have a separate board.

Maybe he is holding out because they are getting a pretty good wage increase .
but of course in your bizarro world PVL bad .
PVL is doing what a boss does in negotiations .
He is being hard headed.

lol I bet if he agreed to everything you’d be on here running him Down as weak .
no matter what he does it’s all negative with you .

Not really but if that’s your take on it that’s on you.

14 months in and no agreement, players mightly pssed off at the way they are being treated, sounds like communication is and has been terrible from the commision , commission going rogue and announcing salary cap without even discussing it with players.

but yeh I’m clearly wrong about the negotiating abilities of our illustrious leaders lol. Besides it’s not like there isn’t a pattern emerging here when it comes to important negotiations is it?
stadiums, nswrl, tv deal. Hmmmm.

I e got nothing against players future proofing themselves for better rights but we’re in a high inflation, potential resession and possible job losses coming up and these people want more. They need to read the room a little better. I think they’re getting bad advice from the rlpa and they’re better ways of going about it
