I used to watch that last effort from the central coast get flogged 60 to 0 in the lower aged league prior to some jets games. Felt sorry for em.

R.I.P used to live up to it's name once, hope you blokes put on a game to make it interesting !!??

Central Coast Storm 22 Auckland Vulcans 20.

A scrappy game played in very warm conditions. Could have gone either way.

Central Knights 36-12 Tigers.
Chris Bailey, Matt White and Keith Lulia all came back from the firstgrade squad and started.
The Knights had probably 40% of possession all game because of poor handling and a lot of penalties, but the Tigers never looked like scoring till they got a couple of soft consolation tries at the end of the game.
I actually thought the Knights were in rusty early season form with their poor handling, but the Tigers have nothing. It's going to be a long year for them.

North Sydney won 44-36 over the Magpies at Concord Oval. Magpies were leading until the last 5-10 minutes. The Bears came home strong in the second half, but the Magpies probably deserved to win.

North Sydney 44 (Beau Champion 2, Scott Geddes 2, Luke Grant, Ben Lowe, Beau Falloon, Nathanael Barnes tries; George Ndaira 6/8 goals) – Wests 36.
Josh Davis scored 2 for Wests, Trent Cutler and Michael Stolk scored, not sure about the others.

Manly 28 (J Robson, C Trembath, S Meaney, N Bradley-Qalilawa, A Suniula D Williams 4/6)
Wentworthville 24 (M Luland 2, I Hauraki, M Rafftery. James Maloney 4/5)

Bulldogs won around 36 to Windsor 18

Ladder will look something like:
Newtown
Knights
Canterbury
Norths
Manly
Central Coast
Auckland
Wentworthville

Wests
Windsor
Balmain
Cronulla

There is still a top-8 even with 12 teams.

The Jets versus Wests game should be a cracker looking at the scorelines etc.

Bring on next saturday at Henson Park.

I don't think Jets got out of second gear against the Sharks yesterday. Very strong side this season. !!

Girvie,

Do you have any idea where Manly is playing Norths next week, and the times?

Cheers.
They are playing at TG Milner Field at Eastwood (North Sydney Oval unavailable due to the cricket pitch). I think it will be at 4.30pm.

Thing - i haven't heard how Conrad Ta'akimoeaka went.

Newtown are also missing Shane Shackleton, bicep rupture, till Round 14.

Rory Kostjaysn is out till next round with bruised ribs.

Foley is out for a few weeks with a knee injury.

They have covered for Foley, Hoppa, Shack and Rory with Don Thompson, Byron Ford, Khalid Deeb and Luke Gordon.
