the score was 26-14 to Newtown
so it's safe to say Bert will not be coaching Wenty next season?
thanks Roland...did you watch the game and if so who were our stand out performers?
what a disgusting result in state cup, we've definitely hit a new low..
Well it was only 60-10...hooray!
Having watched the Fox replay I thought Humble did a pretty damn good job considering the amount of line breaks he had coming at him pretty much the entire game. He made all his 1-on-1's and even managed to get an intercept against the odds. He would be better served in our first grade team IMO.
Allgood went alright, had a dig at the very least. There wasn't much else to be positive about though but geez there is a tonne of first grade experience in the Dogs outfit.
Wenty's man-on-man defence was criminally bad and they will certainly be flogged in training this week.
What's going on with the 5/8 position? We seem to have someone new in there every week.

ASK him and Ken Sio cant tell you how many tries hes scored in 2009.Try 16.
The quietly-spoken Sio has quietly become one of the biggest tryscorers of the season in senior football.
If theres a personality player for Wentworthville in this Saturday's Bundaberg Red Cup grand final at Leichhardt Oval, hes the one.
The goal-kicking winger has been good for virtually a try a cup game; he also scored seven in six games when given four runs for Wenty in the NSW Cup, and another when given a run for Parramatta in the Toyota Cup.
This prolific try-scoring hasn't gone unnoticed.
Hes now been signed as one of the Eels Toyota Cup squad for next season.
Im pretty stoked, its unbelievable, the 18-year-old said.
For that he can thank true believers Brett Cook and Kevin Wise.
A year ago his own self-belief had been tested and dreams broken.
The then Wenty C-grader had fractured a collarbone at the start of 2008 and missed the entire season.
Always, he said of the desire to come back.
Cook wanted him back with the Magpies.
The now Bundaberg Red Cup coach had seen Sio play in C grade and remembered him. Despite the season loss, Cook found him a spot in his 2009 squad.
It was pretty rough at the start.
The pace was faster and it was more physical, Sio said of the stepup from junior to senior football.
However, the flyer showed he had more pace than virtually anyone.
Parramatta development manager Wise noticed too, after a tip from Cook.
He was quick off the mark in jotting down Sios name.
The kids up for it, Cook told NSW Cup coach Rip Taylor.
That was faster and more physical again, Sio said of his promotion to NSW Cup.
He passed that test, scoring six tries in four games.
He was then given a recent Toyota Cup test, and when he passed that was snapped up for the 2010 squad.
He hopes to play in his preferred centre position with the Eels.
Sio is an Eel born and bred; he lives in Merrylands and started with Wenty in the under-6s.
My sisters and cousins play, he said.
Younger sister Hannah plays for the Toongabbie Tigers.
You cant get any more true-blue Parramatta than that.
Sio is of Samoan background but isnt in the blockbusting islander winger mould.
Not yet. He plays at a sleek 85 kilos.
Dare it be said of the flyer: now you Sio him, now you dont.
