Cheers for all the media updates El Diablo.
Another good example of this:
Kate Lundy spokesperson said of a politician critical of ASADA initially naming the Cowboys that he was "playing politics during a time when the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) was trying to clean up the code."
Pretty obvious she was playing politics the moment they had their "darkest day in sport" press conference and starting firing off names of clubs without producing any evidence or actions. This has a name: McCarthyism.
But hey at least now through Government incompetence they can now spin it to justify increasing their powers and increase spending our taxpayers money: corporate.olympics.com.au/news/parliament-to-debate-increased-asada-powers
More government incompetence begets more incompetence and more government. Cant wait to have kids so they can spend the rest of their lives paying off the interest for all this government spending!
See: townsvillebulletin.com.au/article/2013/03/15/377398_news.html for Kate Lundy spokesperson quote.
See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCarthyism for McCarthyism quote.
This is BS; the media named the clubs by a process of elimination - ring the clubs and asking have you been named in the ACC report - any club that answered no was wiped off the list, any club that answered "no comment" was found guilty by the media.
No official from ASADA or government named the clubs.
You sir, are a the one using "McCarthyism" by stating lies as if it is the truth.
not true
the names were first leaked to Melbourne AFL media who had all the clubs names and they did not make one phone call

the Cowboys had not been contacted and told they had been mentioned at the time that was online
ask the journos who told them
they didn't give their source
it was not the NRL or any of the clubs that told them though as some of the clubs had not been notified yet
No official from ASADA or government named the clubs.
bullshit
nutcase
My bad I assumed the clubs were directly named at the press conference. I take back what I wrote.
Ok, El Loopie; answer the question.
Did Lundy or any official from ASADA officially name the clubs involved?
Yes or No. If, you answer yes, please provide the source.
ask the journos who told them
they didn't give their source
it was not the NRL or any of the clubs that told them though as some of the clubs had not been notified yet
that's not even close
you claimed this has nothing to do with the Government yet the NRL CEO had to meet with the PM to to seek an assurance that all codes will get treated the same
you are asking me to name the source who leaked info to AFL journos
all i know is that it wasn't the NRL or any of the 16 clubs
Yeah, yeah dude - all piss and wind.
The answer to my question is - No.
you want a source if the answer is yes so the same rule applies if your answer is no
fool
