Great news for this young bloke, fairness in the investigation process; although he was not part of the ACC report or original ASADA investigaion. He was dobbed in via with some text messages received and sent.

real fair

Holding pattern

While all the focus has been on the alleged doping at Cronulla and Manly, spare a thought for Curtis Johnston. The North Sydney winger remains the only league player named since the Australian Crime Commission's report into the integrity of sport and is still waiting for ASADA to rule on his case. ''It's been weeks of stress and frustration and it's playing on the minds of the whole family,'' said Johnston's father, Col. ''We just want this resolved quickly so he can get back on the paddock playing the game he loves. Now that round one has come and gone it's really upsetting and he was pretty depressed last week. There's no way we will go to any games again until he's back in the team.''

Darkest day in Australian history. Some quotes that could come back to haunt Kate Lundy if ASADA does not ban a shit load of athletes after the year long ACC investigation leading up to that infamous, staged press conference:

Lundy:

"If you want to cheat, we will catch you."
"If you want to fix a match, we will catch you."
"We are well on the way to seeking out and hunting down those who will dope and cheat."

Jason Claire:

"The ACC has the powers of a standing royal commission. It has the powers to hold coersive hearings to force people to give information and it's used those powers in this investigation. The findings are shocking and they'll disgust Australian sports fans. The ACC has found that the use of peptides, hormones and illicit drugs is wide spread amongst professional athletes."

He was not suspended by the NRL or from a recomendation by ASADA; he was stood down by his club re: text messages.

I do agree with El Diablo it seems a little unusual for the same paper that thought Todd Carney was "David Carney" would suddenly have such accurate insight into the NRL & the ASADA investigation into it:

au.sports.yahoo.com/league/news/article/-/13757794/does-melbourne-really-care-about-the-state-of-origin/

the names were first leaked to Melbourne AFL media who had all the clubs names and they did not make one phone call

:D, so every organisation that has .gov,au at the end of its email address is a slave to the government - yeah that's real.
They are. I understand you have no capacity to see why that is so. But that is the case. '.gov.au' means exactly that.

The evidence of match fixing still hasn't been provided.

This is a serious allegation. Made by a Minister.

Just curious, but why if they were to ban 1 player, would that statement come back to haunt her? If that 1 player is the only one who cheated, surely she is right?

Is there a specific number that will need to be banned to equate to "a shit load"? At what number does this statement no longer come back to haunt her?

Umm, so who pays Abbott's wages???

Umm, hard one; could it be the Australian taxpayers via the ATO via Federal Treasury to fund the Legislature.

The loopies have been caught out - "every organisation with an email or website ending in gov.au is a slave of the government".

Redneck, brain dead, bias, unintelligent morons - you know who you are.
