How many cuts have there been in this country? Easy 1.
How many cuts in other countries? Double digits? Why not here too? Because the lazy cannot manage money. This government is about handouts & giving to the people that think they deserve money for dong nothing. Its a bludgers dream living in this country at the moment.

not talkin cuts here Reef, you must of misunderstood my question.

I'll repeat it

Can you inform the readers in here of how many interests rate rises there has been since the doo nuffin doooomed Labor Guvment has come into power.

What is it again.... four years. No interest rate rises. Interest Rate cuts in a lot of the other major countries are simply because their economies are absolutely farkkkkked. Luckily for us, we had a Guv'ment that managed the GFC perfectly.

Worlds greatest Treasurer... 4 Tripple A ratings. The world is jealous of us.

Thank the good Lord we have two more years to go.

There is no way on Earth you can have interest rate rises when the economy is pharked, like ours is. Our government is unable to comprehend or adjust to the 2 speed economy of Australia. We should have had at least 8 cuts shince 2007. That would have negated the need for Stimulus packages & tens of Billions of wastage on pink bats, solar panels & windmills.& edit(COLA's Coverred outdoor learning areas)
To make up for this, they have implemented a tax on breath & are trying to implement a tax on the job creators of the country to re-distibute to the bludgers.

If I wasnt so confident that you are in the huge minority of Australians now Quigs I would petition to renamae this great land Bludgers paradise. or Bludgalia or Havana.

Our resident Stats man .... Tens of Billions. Is that like a 70 billion black hole.

Don't worry I have just heard the World Greatest Treasurer Mr Swan announce from the Meeting that the Australian Economy has grown 6% since the GFC.

He also mentioned that they will have no trouble balancing the books as they are getting it audited outside of Treasury because they cant trust the way the Daily Telecrap and the likes of Alan Gloria Jones and Hadley are reporting it.

They have entered into an agreement with Hogwarths in WA in accordance with AUS 905-Engagements to Perform Agreed-upon Procedures. Just like the NOalition did, and as Swannie said "We'll get it right .... eventually, we is getting a propper audit"

So don't worry about collecting anymore stats or writing down what the Tele or Jonesy have to say.

Its all here.

Managed the GFC perfectly Quigs???
Nothing to do with the HUGE surplus they inherited??

Labor saved Australia: Nobel laureate Stiglitz

The federal government's economic credentials have received a timely boost from Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, who suggested Labor may be best placed to take the country forward.

Professor Stiglitz, a former World Bank chief economist and economic adviser to the US government, said federal Labor did a fantastic job of saving Australia from the global economic crisis.

Oh wow Quigs. Quoting a screaming lefty!!!! Very poor effort.

No Reefy, just quoting an article from the Sydney Morning Herald quoting a Nobel award winning Economist.

What was it Tony NoNo said about economists?

Luckily the Fibs were able to find a couple of good ones to do their books before 48.99% of australia voted for them.

No not that one, but it is my goal to sign up to one of our very own Tea Parties. With all the radical right wingers in here we could form our very own branch.

It would be swell. We could organise Convoys, and even get onto a bus with Alan Jones... or even get to speak with Ray Hadley on the wireless.
We could even get Lord Monkton to come to one of our fundraisers.

You earn more than Ju-liar Reefy, perhaps you could sponsor the Lord Monkton.

I have joined up to these blogs so far.

http://www.corybernardi.com/
http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/

I also want to join that independent think tank the I.P.A. They are a swell bunch.... when I crack it, I might be able to get on every program in australian TV.

I want to be one of these

http://www.ipa.org.au/people

I particularly like Chris Berg, James Paterson, Tim Switzer, and Tim, well Tim Wilson, he is so Boss. He will be Prime Minister one day. I watch him on the Drum everynight, and sometimes on LL and 7.30pm and ACA and Today Tonight,.

Hey, Reefy, let's get this Tea Party up and running ASAP, when can plot against Ju-liar and communist. It'll be a hoot.

I dunno Quigs, they might mistake you for Barry Jones and that would not be the best way to start off new friendships.

I want to me Chris Berg and Tim Wilson.

Its right wing, freedom of speech & markets orientated so greedy people fund it. Do you honestly think bludgers would give anything more than their time to chain themselves to a tree or an unsightly windmill earmakred to be demolished?
Money for beers & ciggys !! not for making a better country.

You know something, you might be right there Reefy. I reckon greedy mobs like the Tobaccie Companies might be on the money, what with the Plain Packaging Legislation passed too.

Hey and whose your favourite IPA-er. I reckon you'd be a Tim Wilson man. He's cool and he gets on every program. (pssst I reckon Chris Berg is the gun though....)

timwilson-1.jpg

And he'd be right up your alley with his honest unbiased comments

Tim Wilson: ...any funding has no impact on the policy positions we take whatsoever.

------------------------------------------------

...a little funding routed via a think tank enables the
policy agenda of corporate funders to be projected to a broader audience with more credibility than if they did it themselves.

... the allure of the IPA is their accessibility, soundbite savvy, and as a source of free copy for opinion pages.
