Because we let them back into the game.
Well that's pretty piss poor in reality.
PS - And you call this lunchtime??
Because we let them back into the game.
When has Slater ever played in a team going backwards? Or more to the point, has he ever played well when Melbourne got flogged?
We were 5 from 10 before he arrived and 11 from 14 after. You do the math(s). He was also one of our best players against Melbourne in the finals. How did supporting the Tigers go last year? It was a lot better after you guys took Moses of our hands. Sure we didnt win a lot of games but I cant tell you how much more satisfying it is watching a team of men playing who are all committed and putting in rather than one prima donna screaming at David Nofoaluma for not backing up when he had a broken leg, two games of zero running metres, many flamboyant dives so it looks like he is trying to make a tackle when in reality he just ensuring his body isnt in the way. For me supporting a team isnt only about premierships won, top four finishes etc, its about pride in the players and the efforts put in.
Last year for us was all about cutting out the cancer, it was painful treatment but the benefits were apparent almost straight away. You guys were one of the lucky transplant recipients and if you believe he got you to top four, good luck to all of you.
Actually we love his leadership, and wish more of our players cared as much about winning. As far as this year goes and whether we will finish above Parra? Only time will tell of course but I already know I will enjoy the season because the Tigers now a committed team playing their guts out for each other and that is what a successful season looks like to me. Think of me and every thankful Tigers fan every time you watch Moses scream abuse at a team mate, shake his head when one of them make an error, pretend to make a tackle or stand and point for others to do something when things are tough.
As much as he can be a flog the bloke always manages to lift the boys when he comes on and I honestly can never fault his enthusiasm and effort.
I think his attitude and effort for our side is undervalued.
after winning the toss yesterday, things sure went downhill fast for you.
Ironically, mitchy’s preferred skiing direction didn’t help !!
The smarter ones amongst you might be starting to see early glimpses of what WT fans were saying. If not yet, it’ll be soon.
You have 3 downhill skiers in your backline, actually.
Don’t look too far into last years results.... you had an amazingly easy draw.
Last week, once the riff stopped the dropsies, well, you know the rest.
Could be a long season for you.
Whatever you do, don’t go blaming mitchy and upsetting him. It’s everyone else’s fault. He’s like a spoilt 13 yr old pageant queen. If you upset him, it turns real ugly real quick. Good luck to you genuine fans, razor Ramon, I hope you’re still convincing yourself how good your team is.
How good would our fitness have been if we had 69% of the ball!!!Pou, really, you're defending the indefensible. We were poor 2 weeks in a row and you blame the heat. Memo to Pou, the other teams also played in the heat and they didn't fold like we did.
Either our fitness is poor, which it looks like, or we read all the reviews and believe the hype that we're a top 4 team so don't have to work for it. Something is wrong, really really wrong atm and BA needs to fix it and fast!

Yeah, while we were crap and were never going to win with how poor we played, that heat would have contributed massively to the big score. Once we only had 1 set in the first 13 minutes or so, the players would have been stuffed!!
Playing in 40 degree heat can really f**k with you mentally and effort levels!!
Yes I know the boys are professionals but there is a limit to what the "body" can handle. Plus add the previous week's game in the heat!!
But this doesn't take away just how poor we started.
Yeah but imagine if we had 79% of the ball!!!We had approximately 69% of the ball for the first 30 minutes against the Panthers and looked fatigued for the remaining 50 minutes of the match.
No I blame our attitude. Though the heat was definitely responsible for our attitude turning into a massive blowout yesterday. And of course none of it would be possible without Manly's brilliant and ultra-professional attitude.Pou, really, you're defending the indefensible. We were poor 2 weeks in a row and you blame the heat.

Now you are just being ridiculous.Or 89% even...
Yeah we were out there for around 30 minutes. The backs a bit longer than the forwards. I thought it was a long time considering how hot it was and wondered if Manly were going to come out at all. They came out for 10 maybe 15 minutes. Can someone who was at the game clarify the issue regarding the warm ups? It seemed to be a topic on radio this morning even though I keep getting told both sides did the same warm up?
Several people have stated that Manly warmed up on field for a round 10 minutes. We were out there for around 25-30 minutes. Can someone confirm that?
It is history now, but if what I am hearing is true then our conditioning staff should all be made to explain why? The TV coverage clearly showed Manly in the sheds warming up while we were out on the field.
Now you are just being ridiculous.
Instead of enjoying a great win by your mob, you are on here trolling and bagging a bloke your club didn’t want. How sad.How did supporting the Tigers go last year?
