Its allways a tough time being a manly fan, and after the last coupe of weeks, not surprising for a manly fan to be a little defensive.
I do get where you were coming from though, the dig at canberra was a lttle rediculious

Maybe you should look at why your club is hated so much. It's because of the massive ego the club has from top to bottom level. It starts from the CEO, to the coach, to the supporters. If that ego wasn't there then there would be no hatred and Manly fans wouldn't have to get defensive and find it tough in the first place.

Manly had a average home crowd this year in the top half of the ladder compared to all other side and were in front of your parramatta mob, so your punt them because they have no fans arguent looks a little thin.

14K last night was pathetic, but given the 8.30 timeslot and the weather there are some outside influences.
But hey you keep hating and we will keep winning and we can both be happy!

Clearly, there are some teams in Sydney with very low support and there comes a point where you have to look at the greater good. The Bears as a North Sydney/Central Coast franchise offers more to the game than niche Manly do.

There is probably 1-2 too many Sydney teams in terms of revenue/exposure/sustainability currently. Apparently Manly are in financial trouble too.

Cut losses, move to Sunshine Coast, then expand with Perth and Gosford.

AS a fan i would love to see some of our officials shut up some times, because they do make the whole place seem like whingers.
But the meda in sydney loves to report anything remotely manly as a negative spin to stir up the extremists and so many just jump in head first.
People like Max Delemege saved our club, but really didn't give us a good image with the way he carried on.
ANYWAY...
On a side note it is a little funny to call the manly CEO arrogant, given you support Parra and Fitzgerrald was the perfect example of arrogance.

It is a shit hole no arguements, but our players love playing there and were undefeated there this year.
