Pet hates in gyms

Don't care about singlets, gloves surely lower your grip strength and make the bar slip so just put up with the pain until your hands get used to it but guys wearing jeans gets my eyes rolling. Could there be worse workout wear

A guy in my gym wears a full body suit of compression wear. Like leggings, top plus calf compression socks. He then does lots of bicep curls with about 10kgs in each hand.

Not so much a pet-hate as a lol-moment.

Had my first experience today of someone doing bicep curls in the squat rack

Not happy

Look some of us aren't arnie ok! Just cause we are skinny doesn't mean we are banned from singlets, they're comfy.
Gloves are try hard though.

Gloves are fine for everybody, although those skinny guys with awful technique lifting too heavy whilst wearing gloves, give us all a bad name.

i am guilty of wearing gloves. Reason being i was standin gbehind a bench in my high school gym when the moron on it decided to take 2 20kg plates off one end and i just got my hand up to my face to block the bar as it flew up and tore my palm open (which was much better then taking my eye out). Work gloves ever since.

Also guilty of wearing hats occasionally, and also backwards. I apologize.

Biloela PCYC is pretty good, there is a group of pretty tidy young mothers that are regulars on the machines while their young ones do karate. Wasn't expecting there to be any talent in this place.

Unless I had a hand injury id find gloves counter productive. I'd rather just deal with the calluses instead of forcing a thicker grip
